@sashnopa Oh wow kid. I thought you didn't care about my video? And now your stalking me on the internet just so you can get the last word in edgewise? Wow. P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C!!!!
Oh, and just because you can't deal with my reasoning in a way that's becoming of an ADULT....please, don;t follow me to random videos just to start an argument.
To any1 who's saying "I'm only 12-15 etc, and i can do this!" stfu, get older and realize your body starts to die. So congratulations, your young... and in case your wondering, yes, i used to run that course at least once a week, on Camp Pendleton
I'm 22. I used to be able to do this shit when I was 15 and as skinny as a rail. I suppose that, had I not discovered the computer, and gon up to 170Lbs, I still could do this shit. Still, you are right, this stuff does get harder with age.
Still, I suppose I'll get off the damn computer and get back down to 160 and in some shape.
You guys should stop putting Rick down. He's the real thing...an exceptional athlete. Check out his site and videos. He's not a large guy, so his hands are probably a lot smaller making it much more difficult to grasp such a thick rope.
I've been practicing this since I was 5 years it's like American ninjas was made for me lol good job on the rope buddy.... And yes your right that rope was a little big for you lol
the 2nd guy tried to climb the rope with just his arms and was gassed, the guy who won used the correct foot lock on the rope and was climbing more with his legs and using his arms only to reposition his feet
i ran this exact course when i was in devil pups (summer between 9th and 10th grade). it was easy then but now i'm 10lbs heavier and a lot less muscle. I now want to tryout for this challenge
lol wanna be hot shot got owned by some random average guy who does parkour for 2 years. Wanted to blame it on everything but him just sucking and not wanting to admit to it haha
lol the american version of the show is some pussy easy as shit set of obstacles for fags, and the comptetitors are so pretentios... typical of americans.
ever watch the original version? the losers are just like "well it sucked to lose, but i just wasn't good enough." americans need to stop explaining why it's not their fault they suck at something and just man up.
@ATL45 i dunno, man, he wasn't all that bad. he did say that his ankle wasn't the problem and that he made a lot of mistakes. i don't think he was just coppin' out by bringing up his ankle. that's just me though =p
@oswalt123 Oh come now. We Americans have a reputation for arrogance. Taking responsibility for your own life makes you capable of changing it. Not owning up for your own mistakes is what makes them unfixable.
@ATL45 You haven't even watch the whole fucking thing. After he said his ankle hurts he said "But it wasn't my problem out there, it was just messed up". He knows he wasn't a good enough competitor and he said it in front of your face.
@ATL45 The free runner didn't really seem to be complaining more like explaining how into it he was but i completely agree with the other guy and who Americans always make up reasons why they cant ect ect
We do, well at least I do and I am an American so that mean other Americans also don't complain... Normally if I lose I say I suck or something not something like what you said.
the one in brown said he has been training for this since he was 5. but when he does it... yeah fail. some comments say it was his muscle that held him back(crap) but he was just a liar he was not ready for this and i think he has never done anything like this before
That's the beauty of youtube comments. You can make pissed off statements about things you don't know anything about. Brian Orosco (green shirt) made it to stage 3 a little while ago; he's just as good, if not better, than most of the hardcore Ninja Warrior regulars that have been there from the start.
Seriously, I would rather send an application to Monster9 and go through all the preliminaries than have to do this American Ninja Warrior crap. It just doesnot seem fun or awesome to me. And less honorable. Sorry for typos.
It is interesting to see a few of these guys struggle through this course. I am a former marine myself and during my brown belt course, we ran this course in body armor after a run. No disrespect to these guys at all, I have just seen 18 yr olds in boot camp run it better than some these guys, over all though very impressive
It's a show. I think they are looking for muscular guys here. I don't know. But that second guy sucked big time. I don't know what he's doing there at all.

The guy that lost didn't seem to have a limp in his run... So I don't know if his leg was a problem or not. I think he thought that he was reallly great, and when he was losing he just got into the state of mind that he lost..
I think the reason is because both guys live in the opposite climates califonia and new york. new york has colder temps then califonia plus its harder to train because there are many people in NY. while CAL has more open space and warmer temps giving the CAL a better advantage to train. but thats just my thought on how i think Brian won so easily and hes a free runner. still AWSOME RACE!
