I have over 95 hrs in bf3 ps3 gameplay. Had much more in bc2.

BC2: pros: no input lag, no scope glare, destruction!, better sound and huge maps

Cons: no prone, flight controls are iffy, not many attachments

BF3: pros: better graphics, vehicles easy to control, better weapons and attachments, classes are more balanced, prone

Cons: input lag!!, lens glare, random deaths not nearly as much destruction.

i liked bc2s maps, i dont much like bf3s i mean there good just not better than bc2 . vehicles are to overpowerd in bf3 helis especially need to be fixed, i mean if u have an engineers and flares and shit ur basically unstoppable. bf3s weapons are ALOT better. um graphics bf3 s are the best. sound bf3. now sniping was actually usefull in bf2 but in bf3 it sucks with the helis and mavs trying to run you over and crapt. so i really dont know which 1 i like more but as of now im playing bf3

they can actually make te destruction better its just ea wants them to tone the destruction down so that every time theres a map pack we can have "improved destruction" and existing maps will get a patch but the catch is its gonna be better if you buy the map pack and by improved they just mean unlocking the full potential of the game engine more and more everytime they get more money from you.

the knife being nerfed is a result of players using knife like cod before in brevous battlefields its only a 1 hit kill if its equipped but they were kind enough to give you the mechanic of pulling out the knife while using a gun. but they should at least buff the knife up to where its a 2 hit kill up front not a 3-5 hit kill other than that its alright

BFBC2 is far more fun. When you win a battle you feel awesomly satisfied, the guns are meatier and sound better (i swear I have heard at least 5 guns that sound identical in bf3) and it's simply a game I can't put down for hours and hours. BF3 I just get bored after about an hours worth of play.

@LLLLSSSSSUUUUU What? the guns are supposse to look good, because it's a FPS game, and in an FPS game the gun is the star, that is the most important aspect of the character, because the gun is what you will be looking at the whole time you play a FPS game. If the guns are ugly, it will surely turn people away, especially if they are modeled wrong, like the M416 in BC2, which has the ejection port on the wrong side of the weapon. People who own the guns in real life will notice.

I played to max rank and beyond in bc2, and ALOT on bf3. bf3 is not near as fluid or polished as bc2. physics are BAD, sound is horrible, and to say the explosions in bf3 are better is hilarious because they are FAR from it. 1:23 in this video for example. frostbite 2 is a total joke on the console version, this game improved in no way aside from a minor graphic bump(console rant)

I prefer BF3 over BC2, but there are a few things I wish they'd kept:

-The way the sniping felt, and bolt action actually killed in one

-Explosion damage, the RPG in BF3 is too overpowered

-Vehicle health, I like the regen in BF3 but they should make 25% the mark for it to catch fire, constantly getting my face blown off by a helicopter camper in one shot.

They also need to fix helicopter spawns, fed up of getting in a heli and getting my face blown off by a camper!

I'm back to bfbc2, barely anyone plays it now which is a disappointment. I love the maps way more, true Battlefield series gameplay. Arica Harbor, Heavy Metal, Atacama Desert, and Vietnam for bfbc2 was so beast. I pray they bring those maps to Battlefield 3 i will be very happy, but I doubt that will happen. At least Back to Karkand will come out in a few weeks.

@00Exiaful I'm not him, but the reason I think the BF:BC2 Frostbite was beter, was because it just seemed liked a lot more buildings were destructible, and they were fun to blow up. The maps DO seem a lot bigger, even though they might not be. But, they are A LOT more wide open, which makes vehicles fun to use. Hope this helps! :D
