Never been into Ween. Heard one or two of there tunes. But when I found this some time ago I was really surprised, the bass, keyboard and drums are dead on. The guitarist adds in some Jimmy Page sloppy lead notes that fit in perfect and the vocalist does a great job. It`s also great to see they give they`re respect to the masters known as Led Zeppelin.
zeppelin played this song in a way that sent shivers down my spine and somehow appealed to a sexual sense...especially the part that starts at 3:11 ....these guys were not bad at all, but i didnt get that feeling i always get from zeppelin which is why i like em so much. it was amusing here though :)
Zeppelin fans are so full of their band. I love them, but no band is above being covered. I'd bet zeppelin would like this, considering they liked dread zeppelin's stuff. Get over yourselves you shithead fans.
@mdic I'm a massive Zeppelin fan...I dig this,All Of My Love is an In Through the Out Door jewl.It showed character development for the band,Plant and Jones made an album in 79 that was a bridge between decades.Ween on the other hand is a band with a magical touch.They can pull this tune out of their bag O tricks and really wow the crowd.It's a classic from a classic band...that was at the end of a stellar run.Ween rocks big time.I can watch this over and over.
Robert Plant wrote this and sang it for his dead 6 year old son. There will always be a lot more heart and beauty when Plant sings this. Ween just won't cut it. Sorry guys.

Nothing surprises me about Gener's ability to sing this song. Listen to If You Could Save Yourself(You'd Save us All). This song is well within Gener's talent. I doubt it was even particularly challenging.

This song is complete proof of that. I've seen them 27 times over the years and they have NEVER let me down. Watching Deaner go crazy with his "smoke machine Pedal" and litteraly FILL the entire Les-Schwab Amphithetre with smoke (it's open air/outdoors!!!!!!!!!!!) while playing the Grobe was brilliant.

@dynamicribbondevice Page used a B-Bender installed in the guitar, there's not much of the verse part that you can play without one. I thought the guitar solo was great, the sloppy timing and off-pitch bends are totally in the style of Jimmy playing live.
Has to be one of the best covers of this song on youtube, singers voice is pretty close to the man himself, Drummers good but no one can ever replace the legand that is Bonham.
It is hard to listen to any other band after listening to all they have to offer. They are incredibly talented. I especially like the fact that they don't really give a shit what is "cool" they play what they want... and it is awesome.
