hey! thats cool i tried it and it didnt sound to cool because idk it doesnt follow notes to swell but i found a cool way if you go to a.62 set to timbre 2. turn osc 1's wave to no5[i think it stands for noise] and turn its control 2 toa high number and control 1 to something thats divisble by 12 evenly then you get a bell sorta sonar thing to whatever with timbre 1 it sets a cool little water wave ambiance
btw you dont really create new sounds by reprogramming (timeless)jarre-patches..;)
microkorg can do so much more than shown in the video. we all know that. no need to describe other things in a video which is called "sonar on microkorg".
and I think this sonar-patch is a good base for dozens of weird and wonderful sounds

thanks...i initialize every patch before i start to tweak around, so i dont know about a.62 =(..
but when you set osc1 to noise, the oscillator gets its own lp-filter.
control 2 is for resonance. control 1 for cutoff.
raise ctrl2 to get the filter oscillating. set ctrl1 to 24 for a chromatic pitched sound.
now delete your presets and make your own sounds. yeah

i dont reprogramme. e.g to make oxy 4,patch b18,edit select 1 to mixer,,knob 1 to zero, and turn eg attack to ,well whatever!
microkorgboy 3 years ago
well, you dont reprogramm. youre using presets.
I dont even know how b.18 sounds like. maybe its a sonar now..=)...I hardly use presets on my microkorg

i thought you meant a different type of reprogramming. i create stuff too. ps, sorry i meant b38 other than b18.
