Tibetan Spaniels are THE BEST pet dogs EVER !!! Get one that's mixed with a pekingnese and you've got a jewel of a dog. Always remember, pure-breads make GREAT show dogs in arena's and on sidewalks but mixed breeds make the best pets.
@Showinbulge I beg to differ, but pure breds make wonderful pets as well. I have had both mixed breeds & pure breds during my life and I don't think either is better one way or another. I have a sweet little Peke mix that I am fostering for someone and he's a doll. My Tibbies are my pets first and foremost. They are all house dogs and are family. A dog is a dog is a dog! Pure bred or mixed they all deserve to be loved.
They're ignoring you because they're spaniels. All spaniel breeds are prone to have selective hearing lol. I do love several spaniel breeds including these, though. Are they really hard to train?
@Papillion1986 They are more difficult than most breeds. Very hard headed, but not impossible to train. The secret to training a Tibbie is to convince them what you want was really all their idea. LOL
i have a tibetan spaniel his name is pip i love him to bits he bits my big dogs back legs lol.. he was not allways that happy though i rescued him from a woman who let her other dog attack him. he was left out side all the time in the rain with no shelter but now he is happy and gets all the love he deservers but now he dont like any other dog except max but we still love him xxxx <3 tibetan spaniels <3
very cute!I was thinking about getting a tibetan spaniel to show in juniors for a while but I got a sheltie instead. Though I still love tibbies and recommand them to a lot who are looking for dogs!

I have 14. :) They are wonderful dogs who are pets first and show dogs second. All of them live in the house.

Oh my god I would LOVE to have this many Tibbies!! I have 2, and my parents have 2 as well...they're all here with me at the moment, it's great!
Anyone who is thinking of getting a Tibetan Spaniel, my advice is DON'T! (get two..hehe)
