I love it! I've gotta play this sonata. When I first heard it I was too young and naive to realize how great this piece is.

Recalling this Schumann Sonata performed by a mysterious black haired tall beautiful woman named Carole. She would walk into Willard Straight Hall, pick a Steinway in one of the music lounge rooms and practice this movement. A stunning romantic interlude in the middle of snowy days and long hours in graduate school.

Wow--Fantastic rendition, sounds like a summer storm. Hobson brings a lot of warmth and richness to this piece; the others seem to forget that giving the music emotion and power is just as important as how fast they can play difficult pieces.
