i read that you use flourocarbon when fly fishing and as a bass fisherman i know that flourocarbon sinks... what type of tippet do you use for dry flies
what length and weight flyrod would you recommend for starting out flyfishing small streams like these? I spin fish for natives alot, but I want to get into flyfishing to try and make it a bit more challenging.
some people preach 1wt's and 2wt's at 6 feet but i'm comfortable with my 4wt 8'6 rod....i'm a believer in use what your comfortable with....places like this get tight and you have to manage your line alot.......the only thing you must do is go up in tippet/leader sized like 7-8 x
