he laughed for a good reason and he explains that reason. Larry King referred to him as a man of God and he simply said after that he is a Buddhist monk. He is no more important or greater than one of the other billions of beings alive on this earth. He laughed that people would describe him as such a great man and a man of God because in his views EVERYONE holds that same beauty and same righteousness deep within.

Given what we have in todays decaying society, HH words tell us that optimism is a better mindset and thus gives us hope for a better tomorrow which is what everyone wants. HH has a sense of humor too! His answers in this video makes him human and not a surreal being we cant relate to.

Until 1985, Dalai Lama demanded the expulsion of all non-Tibetans, including Chinese and muslims from "Greater Tibet". I am not sure whether his current position on autonomy is genuine, but it's not too much of a stretch to think that had the power positions been reversed, "His Holiness" would cleanse all non-Tibetans from his dominion at the first instance.

So much for a man of compassion.

10 years ago I would same the exact same word to myself as u did, however ,after so many years walking around the world, seeing kidds starving in front of face and could do nothing, people getting robbed and nobody even dare to see the mobs, generous ppl get punished for their mercy while eveil obtain reward for killing, I gave up on humanity.
