great master shi suxi's pagoda was made for him in 2002, while he was still living. he passed away in 2006 two years after his 80th birthday. and the car, plane, computer, etc. represent the eras he lived through in his lifetime- not his personal possessions. he lived through times like the cultural revolution in china eating tree bark if not giving his share to others. he was the last real monk from the old generations that restored shaolin temple traditions. not a wealthy man.
