I have to respectfully agree, I mean the show was not my favorite, however it is Jil Sander, a brand known for its minimalist chic style. Just because it was not aesthetically pleasing to some does not mean there is not a place or market in fashion for it. Loved the runway and the look at 6:45.
I loved when the DJ Michel Gaubert used Busta Rhymes along with Hitchcock's psycho theme on the last spring season, I thought it was ironic and strangely fit in. Now this season he uses 50 cent? NO! I get that there is supposed to be irony in that and that it's supposed to break up the literalness of the Hitchcock reference, but it was just the wrong choice. Still love Raf though.
I thought he was still referencing Hitchcock by the likes of this collection, just like he did last season. But this season it just SCREAMED HITCHCOCK!
I thought there was a clinical appeal, somewhat like a sanitized 50s film noir look. i don't know, i must be over analyzing but that was my first impression.
Is incredible how a young designer can not fashion forward ideas. This awas collection for Hospital or what?Any Seamstress could design this collection
Raf Simons is mini Miuccia, his version of beauty requires some sort of an acquired taste. Personally, I feel this collection is simply impeccable. I love the final few white dresses, there was this rather matronly nurse feel which was interestingly appealing.
@crucio25smile yeah i agree but it doesn't necessarily mean that he always hits all the right notes and that when the viewer fails to treasure his work is because their taste is lacking. i think he does a far better job with menswear and jil sander is my clear favorit in that department.
well...the crisp minimalist feel is certainlyead. unstructured cat walk, horrible jazz music, odd 1960s clothes. sorry, i'm not feeling any of his stuff anymore

I'm pretty impress by the way some girls look so coordinated when the walk down the runway... at 5:59.
It's also funny how one of the attendant dance when Candy Shop start at 5:32

I LOVE raf simons, but the white outfits are TOO white, it's weird, the models looks like nurses, the hair don't help.
