It's unfair that Tin Tin was not nominated in the Best Animation category same with Mary J Blige and Madonna not nominated in the Best Song category. I hope that next year the Oscars will not do that to Whitney Houston's Sparkle movie.
I just wish Warner Brothers had pushed harder for Alan Rickman to be noticed for 'Best Supporting Actor' he did an AMAZING job at playing Snape. He has such an intricate character that I think he should be recognised for playing Severus in the Harry Potter series.

Sure, Silence Of The Lambs was a good movie, but not good enough to qualify as a Best Picture winner. Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster were excellent, but Beauty And The Beast is a much better movie, both visually and content-wise.
