The people who hate it can't get into it because it detracts from their awe of the FPS, an example is how in halo wars, you have two armies standing up, taking fire from one another and just shrugging it off until they die. The games core values were changed to make it a playable RTS, and alot of people couldn't deal with seeing their baby in another light. It's like a Catholic finding out his son is gay. Nothing wrong with, but It's no longer part of my family.

@loadedbros dude there are counters to everything. Infantry>Air Air>Tank Tank>Infantry.the overpowered units arent impossible to beat. Hawks, ODSTs, Scarab, Elites. they all have weaknesses. hawks are only slighty better than hornets but wolverines totally annihalate them. ODSTs can easily be beaten by tanks. scarabs, hard, but grizzlys can own it. point being, its all determined on your countermeasures and research. its why balanced teams have a better chance than a one type army.

This game is fun as hell, it's not as hard, but it's fun. It's more fun than Starcraft 2 in my opinion, mainly because when I play Starcraft 2 I get so frustrated when I lose because I tried so hard, and that isn't exactly fun for me. it is very good game the are only 6 leaders however and it can be somewhat repeatitive, unless you like to make different attack types. online. there is an average of 15 000 people online. quick for finding games. the graphics are the best i have seen( cut scenes). campaign has 15 missions but they can take like 20 - 30 minutes each. basic easy controls. limited units but i think it is good.

collectables like skulls are in the campaign aswell. i still play it every so often 3v3=beast

Holy crap at 1.42 and I don't know why people say this game is bad. Yes, it's simplified but for a good reason: bring rts to console and replacing long term building to fast paced action which is not only iconic to halo but it brings a new genre of strat games focusing on fast action. It also has strategy elements in it specially the matchmaking, which is quite sad that so little people get on it. I am not so good myself, I just like to have fun in matchmaking. ;)
