Looks like they may have lost reference with the field but I don't understand what happened just out of sight? Looked like the were wings level, nose decending..it's got one of the best K-36 seats...strange.

The Su-27 has one of the best pitch rates of any tactical fighters of it's class and one of the best escape seats in the industry. If the back seater was tasked with monitoring min safe altitude during the performance and the aircraft broke that minimum..the command should have been given to eject provided they were not incapacitated by G-loc. The question remains WHY?
