  • This is why I didn't vote for him in the first place. He has no concept of how to manage an economy, and he lives in his own little world.

  • this video has been edited in a negavite way, put the whole video and leave us to interpret what he is saying instead of interpreting it for us......

  • nice video thanks

  • The left cannot create wealth. They can only destroy wealth. It's fine as long as we all have the same mediocre standard of living.

  • can someone tell me why we voted this guy our PRSIDENT again?

  • I think Obama understands the capital gains argument but believes that the increase in capital gains revenue was due to something other than the decrease in the capital gains tax.

  • Barack is a dumb shit!

  • I like how he says "That might happen, or might not, it all depends how business is going" that's true if all your stocks lose value, you wont have to pay any capital gains tax.

Considering he campaigned on brutalizing business and industry through egregious tax policy, it no wonder how deep this recession is hitting us.

  • Taxing investment is destructive to our economy. Don't listen to me. Heed the words of John F. Kennedy (1963) - " The tax on capital gains directly affects investment decisions, the mobility and flow of risk capital...the ease or difficulty experienced by new ventures in obtaining capital, and thereby the strength and potential for growth in the economy".

  • Also, if you wish to discuss fairness, think on this: when we excessively tax investment, it not only moves capital overseas but also hurts "workers". A study by Gary Robbins, a former treasury economist, indicates that studying the period from 1946 to 1998 results in finding that "90% of the returns to capital investment accrued to workers in the form of higher wages". Higher wages....now there's a thought. I don't see how it gets much fairer than that.

  • @IguanadonBlues Jack Kennedy was the last President with a (D) that understood our economic state. Great Post!!

  • @norr4636 said: Jack Kennedy was the last President with a (D) that understood our economic state.

Jack Kennedy would be a very conservative politician compared to today's Dems. Would you EVER hear ANY Dem today say: " Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country!"

Seriously... does that sound ANYTHING like the Dems (communist, etc. now) today?

Today's Dems would vote against Jack Kennedy. Hands down. The Dems have been taken over by America-haters.

  • @CmonMan101 You are correct my friend!

  • Well shows your views are not supported, and Barak's views are.... SORRY !

Hope you are a stock owner !

  • My favorite is when he says "if that happens" (if revenues decrease). I guess he missed the part about HISTORY SHOWS THIS HAPPENS. Liberals will never figure out that 2 + 2 won't be 5 ***this time***. It's 4. It was and always will be 4.

  • In this day and age, $250K is not a lot of money. My father in law makes 200K a year and he scrapes by. He's not hurting, but he certainly isn't wealthy by any means.

I would say the new Middle class would be from $60K (low) to $500K (wealthy) and Rich would be above a million a year.

The idea that SOME people aren't as fortunate to live the American dream so tax the people who can afford it is Criminal. IF they want the American dream, they should go out and bust their own ass to live it.

  • Barack "The Socialist" Obama is so out of touch with how the economy works.

  • Screw fairness, if someone works there butt off at school to get a good job and make some money they don't have to give to the ones who just blew school off to party and got crap jobs. It isn't my fault they made stupid choices, all democRATS care about is controlling the nation. So they will lie to get what they want. I quote Obama " a whole town was destroyed and thousands of people died." A town was destroyed but only 12 people died.

  • The American Dream is a reality for some folks, but for others, that dream will become more available with tax cuts. Businesses that make over $250K a year can afford to be taxed a bit more for the people who are not living the American Dream. Obama's tax cuts will make it possible for people to reach the American Dream quicker.

  • The American Dream is possible because our system rewarded people for their hard work. If you give people something for nothing, then they haven't earned it and will not appreciate it...you'll create a bunch of moochers who expect the government to take care of them. Why do you think welfare reform was so successful?...because it sent the message that you could not depend on the government to take care of you. If you take away from those who succeed, then you reduce the incentive to even try!

  • "If you take away from those who succeed, then you reduce the incentive to even try!"

Such truth was never before spoken on youtube, in regards to the economy.

  • @Yelbom90 Until we make it a crime to have children when your income is below a certain point, our country will never turn around. We need to turn off the faucet that fills our world up with people who cannot survive on their own. If you cannot survive on your own in America, you do not deserve to live at all...

  • @Gerling2day

What a moron. You can't live on your own, nobody can. Social infrastructures are what keep us from a state of nature. Without society, you're nothing and nobody. Just another person waiting to have their head smashed in from the millions of stronger and billions of smarter people around you. Notice, I'm stressing the billions that are smarter than you. You're a doofus after all.
