My throttle pedal started to squeek and creak like crazy on and off. I feel it through my foot. Oil help just for a short period of time. But I think that it is construction problem. They are designed poorly. I like them, but only when they work. :( It works for a few days without a problem and then suddenly in half of a race... creaky like hell.

I just try to remover the block behind the gas pedal today........I have those correct tools , but I can't unscrew the knobs........they're very very tight!!!!

Just got mine yesterday... i took them apart in a second.. it is excellent now, gas 30% stronger, clutch same, brake one hole up and with the shorter metal stick...its beautiful!!!

@ 0:52 do not adjust the spring!!!! it will make your pedals creaky and squeaky after about 2 hours of racing!!!! and loosening them back to normal doesn't fix. you have been warned.

i just received the gt2 clubsport bundle today from pagnian imports, and out of the box its fine, but noticed the CS gas pedal is sqeaking with every press, so i came here to see how you tighen gas pedal, but i noticed in your video...that pedals only have one bolt, were mine has 2, both on gas and clutch is this normal or a redesign,also on the brake,the lil metal bit sticking up from the black metal part in the brake, sumone has written a number in black texta on it 12***...that normal..lol..

Yes, the PU foam is "almost" indestructible. But mine is dead after four weeks.

These pedals are a bit crazy. They tend to start squeaking at any point. But It's not the main problem. I feel some click through my foot and that drives me crazy. Then I use lubricant and mess with them just to stop that noise. But I like them. You (Fanatec) just need to make that construction a bit better. There is a room for improvement.

Does the ABS vibration work if I used these pedals with a G27 on PC? & can I use the Fanatec Shifter set with my G27?

@DenwarTheoriginal ABS vibration works only when you connect pedals to the wheel. You can connect these pedals through USB but there is no vibration then. So yes, you can use them with your G27.

@DenwarTheoriginal And no, you can't use shifter set with G27 because they need to be connected to the wheel. But there will be Clubsport shifter available. But there are other shifters from other brands if you are interested. But I'm waiting for Fanatec.

Is this pedal supposed to be plug n' play for PS3? I set it up for the very first time today with the GT3 RS v2 and with GT5... the wheel & shifter work, but there's absolutely ZERO response from the pedals whatsoever. Am I missing something? Does it require its own AC Adapter?

I exchanged 3 sets of CSP pedals in 5 days from my dealer,each time thinking there was a problem with the load cell..But no,I discovered that in each 3 pedal set there is a common "flickering" issue of the brake,as you can see on the previous video made by fanatec1 when he shows the pedals.The gas and clutch are fine,but I hate this flickering on the brake,and mines were not defective pedals.On the previous video he said they were improving that problem,the electonic was still BETA,even now...

@IIDXBoss That's odd. I installed the drivers on my laptop, but no program of the sort appears to be installed. In the Program Files/Fanatec/Porsche Wheel directory, I see controlXp64.exe and PWSetupCustomAction.exe . But those are the only executables that I can run.

I highly encourage CSP owners to regularly clean and reapply fresh lube to the parts, especially the brake tube, rods, foam and metal piece.

My brake pedal was having some problems where it would stay engaged after I did some braking, but after cleaning and reapplying lube, the problem went away.

question I have: My setup for xBox on Forza 3, I like to build 2Dof motion base for my seat. does the Studio-10 (Forza 3) issue open interface to end user? if not, any one know how to start such project? The basic inputs I guess are the steering wheel angle and speed changes are needed in order to feed to the controller, right? I will be really thankful if can help out my questions. thanks

minute 8:15 "And now you just need to put the four screws back in..."

That was the hardest part of the whole thing for me. All the pedals kept disconnecting, springs and pieces spilled everywhere several times. I asked my wife to come over and try and get the little screws back in while I tried to hold it still, and she wanted to give up several times because she said this was impossible.

After all that, I think the pieces to the brake lost their lube because now they're getting stuck.

Got mine in and DAMN they're solid. EVERYTHING is made of metal, right down to the black parts that you would expect to be plastic. Only exception is the little knob for the brake haha

The tweaking is fun too. I didn't expect adjusting the spring seats to make much of a difference in stiffness, but you can make a surprising increase! (I felt that, out of the box, the clutch was too light compared to real car performance cars).

Couple of things I would change, but overall 95/100

If you are a G25/G27 pedal user there is no greater upgrade than these.

The pedals are really great, but I am not really faster with them as with the G25 pedals.

It is really not easy to dismount the pedals. This 2 inside screws (inside hexagon socket countersunk head screws) are very tricky. The frist time I disassembled the pedals, the way Thomas did in the video, one of this screws chocked between this plastic tube and sideplate.

I was trying to take my pedals apart as per the video but one of the screws (removed at 3:30 in the video) was partially trapped behind it. I didn't realise at first, kept on trying to unscrew it and now it's stuck in place and bent out of shape. The only way I can see of removing it is to drop out the back bar from its mounts to gain full access.

We clearly advertized the GT3RS V1 to be PC compatible and not PS3. But you don't have to be disappointed as there will be an upgrade kit for V1 owners.

I recomend using dry lube because it will last forever, then puting brake into second hole for more stifness - dont do it - it will be stiff as hell (totaly useles), pay attention to tight bolts not to much, aluminium body will not hold.

Well, I've tried Fanatec website contact options and emails indicated by some forums friends. Still took more than a week to get a response. Right now everything is solved and I'm back to waiting my wheels.

Don't get me wrong, Fanatec have the best wheels at this price point and will not be beat in the near future (the reason why I've contacted them was because I wanted to include another wheel in my order) but they have to improve their customer service.
