  • So nice to see only males being portrayed as drug users, there's tax money well and fairly spent.

  • @sirskeptic If it was just a woman driving, would you say the same thing? It's a one in two chance of pissing somebody off, I don't think they're out to get men intentionally, and your tax dollars comment at the end is just your way of shoehorning in a grievance for the sake of it.

  • @wuzzlevideos I just noticed that your TAC also shows females as bad. Our MAC (S.A.) has opnly ever shown males as bad drivers since the 1970's.

Not just the MAC, all govt. advertising. Not a single female drug user, litterer, abuser, shoplifter or speeder.

I guess it's just SA - no wonder we have the highest young male suicide rate in the world.

  • @sirskeptic I should probably say that I'm from the UK, and live in England, and I only upload these because I'm a TV/Film nerd and for some reason I have a morbid fascination with road safety vids, so, I'm not a Victorian taxpayer, and so I don't really have an opinion on how they spend their money.

  • @sirskeptic If it's any consolation, there was a female passenger in the car who was probably well aware of the fact that the driver was on drugs.

  • @sirskeptic have a look at the tracey video (assuming u can understand what she's saying)

  • vic is a nanny state

  • @dendrov it is a bit but for good reason, things like seatbelts and fencing around pools came about because too many people were dying, on the advice of the coroner.

  • @1337butlegit No, I'm in the UK.

  • @canadathestrong Im from Aus they are around all the time on fridays, saturdays and sundays, then pop up randomly on main roads during the week

  • @oldmanwithers1 I see them occasionally during mid-week her.

  • @canadathestrong they're common in Victoria (generally on the main roads) as this where this ad is from we were the first jurisdiction in the world to make seatbelts mandatory in 1970 we were also the first to introduce random drug tests at police roadblocks they test for amphetamines, cannabis and other illicit drugs.

  • @canadathestrong No idea, if anybody from Australia wants to chip in then go ahead!

  • If you're gonna do drugs, make sure you're not planning to drive. That's a surefire way to get in trouble.

  • some cops are nice last night got pulled over and got away with drink driving at least i was over the legal limit by 6-7times

  • PWND!

  • go those kids! my siblings! =D

  • Cool ad! JUst one question........pardon my ignorance, but I'm from the US. What exactlty is a "Drug Bus" or a "Booze Bus"?

  • @spy4863 A booze bus/drug bus are mobile testing facilities at the roadside for catching drivers. They are usually quite sophisticated. And I happen to think they're great. Fuck anyone who honestly thinks it's ok to drive impaired.

  • @spy4863 when you get examind for drug's and booze so they take you onto the bus if its negitive on the breath teast sorry i have a spelling disorder :(

  • travelling in a fried-out combie on a hippie trail, head full of zombie

  • HAHA busted

  • Ten years ago that girl he waved to would be through his car's grill. Oh, TAC, where did the shock tactics go?

  • lol, very true. :)

  • @SmashRockgroin HAHAHAHAHA!

  • @SmashRockgroin i know that your comment is two years old but consider this, the driver is supposed to have illicit drugs in his system so its possible the girl is supposed to represent an hallucination.

  • if you feel a powerful urge to take drugs and drive at least learn the area and locations which the police usually have aa RBT or RDS setup and avoid using main roads or driving in a populated area

  • yeah...

but not taking drugs while driving could be easier ay?

  • Everyone has a different tolerance level with drugs and alcohol. The system used by the police is just a guide founded loosely on statistics that are spotty at best.

Let's face it, sometimes we don't plan for these types of situations thrust upon us, so I say learn your limit and try not to exceed it

  • this new slogan of theirs will never compare to bloody idiot.

  • @rolla16 "If you drive on drugs, you're out of your fucking mind"

    fixed it

  • yeah qld has these things now

  • Awesome! You didn't post some up for a while, then I come back, and there's 11 new videos! I can't wait to watch 'em all! ;D
