Man, i have been at the bottom of bray hill for the superbikes ...it's 6th fully tapped and it's truly a site to behold..this guy is a legend for holding it for as long as he did.

The one thing you can't capture on video for all who are unlucky enough not to be there is the drop and climb on this hill, his bike is sliding up hill towards Ago's leap.

This is a proper race, the Isle of Man TT. Where riders average speeds of 125mph around a track where the speed limits are usually 30mph. With barely any crash protection, and where riders can easily crash into brick walls at speeds in excess of 200mph. Please don't go and compare anything these guys do to riding Harleys. Harleys are piles of shit compared to what these guys hold onto.

That was just a horrible case of tank slapping, and I'm glad the rider survived.

The record is over 131 mph which was set in 2008. Where he crashed is KirkMichael, 30 mph normally and it is very narrow, undulating and bumpy. Easy for a bike to get out of shape if it isn't set up right. Often, after a crooked front wheel landing the whole bike shakes violently and the feet come off the footpegs, the handle bars oscillate from side to side, and the hands or knuckles "slap the tank". Sometimes the knees hit the tank so hard they dent it. It's about 50/50 whether you crash.

That would make it worse. Now you would throw the bike into a slide that no one wants. At this point the suspensions are giving up and the bikes wheels are constantly touching and letting off the road. If you brake too hard then there goes the bike into a spin.
