8/10 wish it wouldve had a bit more from the book and some characters came in the movie way too late. michael cera was a pimp though!

Many probably don't realize how significant nihilism is in this movie. There are countless references to Camus, especially The Revolt, love, absurdity, and some notions of suicide. This movie truly is deeper than I think it's thought of. Best movie I've ever seen. No go read The Myth of Sisyphus!!!!

Here’s the thing. If you dress a rhino in a clown suit, it’s still a rhino. If you place a cowboy hat on a panda, it’s still a panda. And whatever film Michael Cera stars in, he’s still Michael Cera.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve been a fan of Cera up to now.

Very good movie, the reviewers comment about it being a lighter, more happy "Rushmore" is spot on. Not because of the plot, just the way the movie feels. I was thinking the whole time, "Wes Anderson must have had something to do with this."

I did not like this movie. The ending was terrible. Just god aweful. It was hardly even funny. There were some funny parts.

But the main reason I saw this movie is because Zach Galifianakis was in it, and he dies within the first half hour of the movie.
