nice set up man i got my q9400 at 3.4GHz @1.42 volts lol i think thats a like high but it runs fine. i have the ultra chill tec cooler and the hottest its gotten to is 32c so yeah!
Very nice build, dont let the jealousy get to you. I have been doing builds for some time now and you did well on this one. but i wont lie when I say that i am a but confused as to why you would want to air cool a water block but then again I have not seen your design...KUDOS on th ebuild, nice sync on the music as well
can i ask why the motherboard post lcd is displaying FF normaly from past experiance i find this means fail to post or ive read it wrong and it really means the cpu is at 77degC so either way its abit strange
also do you have a link or can you explain how you've done this im very intrested and havnt seen anything like this before.
As for the heatsink part, it does make a difference. I have seen other water block reviews and the temps are pretty much the same if not a little better.
Some people might think it's good some not, there's always going to be something better or worse out there.
That voltage is way too high. You should be able to reach 3.2Ghz with much less.

beautifull!
I have the same cpu like you...but i cant reach beyond
3.00ghz...why?
i'm use p5q deluxe,4 gigs of ram (K.Hyper X),4870 ATi,560 silverstone psu....
But i'm still using the stock cooler....

Reason you wont be able to overclock anyhigher is that the temps would get to hot, buy a aftermarket cooler or go watercoling

this guy is right.... unless you like burning up CPU's every week.
+1

Looks good!
It's clean, unique, and judging by the temps, it is obviously doing what it was intended to do, draw heat away from the components.

How difficult is overclock this CPU? I want to try 400*8 (3,2GHz) with air cooling.. and motherboard Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3 (rev.1.0)

Does the heatsink make anydifference? im sorry to say i dont like how it looks but its a personal preference.

That's cool you don't like the looks of it.
