Them Bones was released first. 1992 VS 1994.

And look it up - a LOT of Doom music was inspired by real music by bands including Slayer, Pantera, Alice in Chains, Metallica. Music designer knew how much he could sample without being sued.

I find it cool that Doom has used songs by Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, and Alice in Chains. I'm gonna have to make a mod that plays the real versions of all the songs Doom turned into polyphonic. Unless if someone else has done that, I would like to get that mod.

its vise versa john romero put this song in doom he got it from alice in chains its not an exact copy of the song but its similar and this goes for the majority of the songs in doom 1 & 2 they were inspired by real songs

It was Bobby Prince who made the music, not John Romero. Bobby Prince was also a lawyer, so he knew exactly how much of the original songs he could copy and not be accused of plagiarism.
