I got this unit the other day, is there any way I can make it quieter ? The motor from the pump is a little much.

You gently lift the plants and pour the water directly onto the green plastic cover surface. The water filters down below into the reservoir.

can u stop it from spinning and tangling the roots

A better solution than stopping the rotation is to actually trim your roots so they do not tangle. This way it doesn't interfere with the nutrient spray and plant rotation.

how do you add water/nutrients once the plants have grown out and covered the top?

Great video. Looks like it's built better than the AeroGarden. The timelapse you guys did looks great too!
