hideaki anno is quite a genius! he defies everything in this anime!  i think adorno would have liked it! anyway, shinji is not very nice to see shinji piloting a mecha (i'm used to the Nagai/Ishikawa style, Ryoma Nagare is my favourite) but i have now understood that Anno did't want to do something nice. art has to be destructive,
