Sadourny <3 et Colomiers <3 best try ever... I remember 13 years ago, when I was young (nearly 8) this try was broadcast in the Stade Toulousain shop in Toulouse:)
Can't stop watching this! - especially the 'out and in' sidestep at around 25 seconds... superbe!! (is that Sella?). NZ were one kick to touch away from winning the series, 33 seconds later, they are on their arses - magnifique!!
@zoltar56 that's right! that was one of the lastet action of the match, and France won the series against All Blacks in New Zealand...I think, first time ever :)
PLEASE DONT READ THIS!!! One time a girl named miya dissapeard in a forest in 1986

What is it with you French ,,, you are the best team in the world .... But you run hot or cold ... Your our main hope in Europe ....Respect from a Welsh man never seen a better try ... :)
That's what team sports should be about : think it was Platini who said the ultimate goal (here try) is the 1 where the whole team touches the ball & partake in it.. WINNING UGLY IS OVER-RATED!! Give me back this French team which didn't necessarily "win" on the scoreboard but still had the most respectable ambition of all : play the game as it should be played to try to win. You shouldn't try to follow the easiest path. That's in the Bible even. Aim for the absolute best not mediocrity.

Nice try but....Baa Baa`s V NZ scored by Gareth Edwards - Phil Bennett was facing his own line turned and beat three NZ players to begin the move. The Baa Baa`s is a better try all round!
Yeah but... the baa-baa's try was more or less the 'classic' Welsh team of the early 70's, in the first minutes of the game, playing in Cardiff (I think only John Pullin was the only non-Welsh player to touch the ball during the try). The French try was to win a series against NZ, in NZ, in the last minutes of the tour! I remember watching the baa-baa's try on TV at my nan's, my dad went to the game. For me, this try is better - and I'm Welsh!
that from the good old times when an average guy (i mean 85 kilos x 6'') coluld still express he's genius on the field..
NZ has knocked it all down (the worst which has ever happened to rugby : Lomu !!)and now everyone play the same stuff: impact (huuu) pass ... impact (huuuu) pass Booom try...
I know i'm a kind of passeist but tell me about JPr Williams and let me dream about 1975's rugby !!!
And Cabannes (7) for the last relay and faint. One of the great french flankers of this time (like Champ, Magne) whose tradition disappeared with Laporte (just take the ball and run straight ahead)
Greatest try ever!! Can anybody translate what the French announcer is saying for me and my fellow Australian's that will no doubt be replaying this video in the lead up to the World Cup in one of the most beautiful countries ever!
"The most accomplished try ever, from a french team, the one which insure an in-extremis victory against new-zealand team, in Auckland, a game action so beauty, that the Sunday Times qualified it as "the try of the century", and dedicated it a double analysis page"
Sorry but that was 1994 as it say's in the vid but pretty hard to make out. Venue was Eden park NZ, Jean-Luc Sadourny finishing off a great try to clinch the game at the death 23-20 and winning the series 2-0.
There's 20 minutes to go until WC final! Who knows what will happen!

One of the best tries you're ever likely to see. Reminiscent of the famous Barbarians try against the AB's.
