@tuquescrub Glad I could help. I should add, that the exhaust is smoother than what you'll hear in this clip since the mic does have some distortion in it when I revved the engine. Also it may sound a bit quiet when first installed, give it about 1500 miles to break in and the sound will improve A LOT.
Ok now i'm gonna be a pain in the ass....(sorry) I really like that sound and i want it, would it possible to find out all 3 exterior dimensions and where the pipes go in and out? Cheers
@tuquescrub Just crawled under the truck to measure it for you. 14" long x 8" wide x 4 or 5" thick. And the inlet/outlet sides are offset, not centered on the muffler case.
@tuquescrub Dunno what the part # is, I ordered it at a muffler shop that later installed it for me. All I know is that it's the 14" oval casing with an I/O side being 2.5" diameter. Tey cut off the factory muffler at the inlet side, and removed all of it, welded the new muffler in in the inlet side. Then they bent a new tail pipe to weld to the outlet side. All in all, it was $185 total and 40 minutes of waiting. Hell of a deal considering a catback system costs more than a few hundred bucks!
Sounds awesome man. This is what I'm getting on my 4.7 Ram. I am also getting a magnaflow Y pipe to replace the crappy "y" pipe that dodge has.
