Everyone needs to FORGET any problems Daron had with alcohol...People make mistakes in life, ALL OF US DO..God forgives and wipes those mistakes from his memory and we should as well.... Daron is the most wonderful ,Christian, man..husband..and father that I've ever seen. He made a COMPLETE come back and turned EVERYTHING around..God bless you Daron, because Littlefield, Tx, your fans and I sure do love you as well...
Actually I met Daron a few years ago and did some work with him and alcohol hasnt ruined his career. He's performing shows in a tour called "keep it straight"
I got to meet Darron when he opened for Waylon Jennings the last time Waylon performed in Littlefield for the 4th of July Celebration. It was the first time he sang this song in public. He was and still is a wonderful singer.
He also went to my daughter's school with his "Keep it Straight" program. I am very proud of him because he is using a negative experience to bring positive results into our kids lives. Darron is to be commended

I was listening to country then.. but I don't remember this guy at all. I just saw him singing the national anthem at WCW's 1994 Pay Per View, Bash at the Beach. They're airing it on WWE Classics on Demand this month, complete with his performance.
But yeah.. this guy isn't ringing a bell at all. And this song is... meh...
