  • Harley Gage, Robert McCall, Mickey Kostmayer and Control. They were all great characters. Brilliant series from the 80s. Would love to see it re-run, but not remade. it is irreplaceable.

  • CE DOIT ETRE MICHAEL MORIARTY QUI JOUE DEDANT

  • Yeah let's use a shotgun, that's a really concealable, quiet and discreet weapon with which to assasinate someone. And yes, let's wait to cock it until your target has walked through the door and can hear you doing so. Who writes this stuff?

  • I loved Harley Gage and Robert McCall. Richard Jordan and Edward Woodward--two brilliant actors who are much missed. Thanks for posting these episodes.

  • This was filmed not long after Edward Woodward had his heart attack which is the reason he deosn't star in it as much in a number of episodes which all star Richard Jordan

  • And then Woodward outlived Jordan by 16 years. Go figure.

  • Top shelf! Thanks for posting this. Any chance you could post the gun battle at the end of the episode? The music in there is outstanding!

  • Best show of the 80's!

Universal has released Season 1 on DVD in 2008. Hopefully the other 3 Seasons will be released soon.

  • 1. I guess I'll be a fan of the sow someday.

    2. Stewart once again makes nice music in the first scene.

  • I loved this show, I love Edward Woodward, I loved Richard Jordan. Thanks for posting.

  • This must be a later season, I only have 1 on DVD, can't wait to have them all.

  • Copeland's album was The Equalizer and Other Cliff Hangers and was rearrangements of various pieces used over the series. I have the vinyl LP. I am very old.

  • The best spy show ever on TV. It was so good they could not stand it and took it off.

  • Does anyone know how much Edward Woodward got paid for being in it?

As it was a successful American TV show I imagine it must have been the most lucrative work of his career.

  • Love Harley Gage, thanks for posting!

  • Where can i watch more Equalizer's online. The intro (brilliant) has brought me back now i want to watch them all!

  • tnanks

  • The theme music for The Equalizer was created by Stewart Copeland, (formerly the drummer for The Police), and it was available on cassete in the 1990's.

  • It was available on CD as well and I got a copy on amazon for $20.00. I almost got it for $6.00 on Ebay but some idiot came in at the last minute and bought it for $6.50. Anyway fuck that guy. it was well worth the money. I would feel pretty cheap buying such a great CD for $6.00.
