Classic is better tbh.

All they did to the map was make the graphics more interesting, and added grass on the paths. Plus, the mountains in the background ruin it.

Ah, this map is awesome. Like the Blood Gulch of Unreal Tournament. Speaking of Halo 3 maps, we could create a near exact replica of this map in forge using Sandbox from the Mythic Map Pack. I can't wait. I might do it and even create a game variant for it to emulate Unreal. :D

I wonder why, I have UT3 for the 360 and I'd much rather play it than that piece of shit Halo 3. Though UT original IMO is the best.

People moved on IMO. UT/Quake type "quick/twitch" shooters were popular back in the day but now people prefer Battlefield 2/CoD4 style games that move slower

the problem is gameplay. UT3's gameplay is a bastard child of UT99 using the gun mechanics of Unreal Championship 2. Yeah exactly. Console noobification. Those who LIKED UT99 aren't going to stop, buy a new computer just to play a pretty version of UT99. Some did the rest stayed with UT99. Now if you were a fan of UT2004 you were either a new fan of UT or one of those who were happy about the new gameplay. Well guess how disappointed THEY would be once they heard UT3 was a return to basics......

My fav CTF flag map of all time, but the version of the map in the original UT and UT 2004 are allot more fun since they take place on a meteor orbiting space with heavy metal music playing in the background. It created a atmosphere like no other, this version is just meh!

I have been WAITING for a new version of Facing Worlds! More importantly, I've been waiting for a new remix of Foregone Destruction! I was really sad when "Face Classic" or "Face3" didn't have one in Unreal Tournament 2004! I'm happy again.  ^_^ My only qualm is that the original Facing Worlds was in a freaky (and probably distracting) eratic orbit. This one's a bit more generic...
