I remember that game! it was great. i think the mets were losing like 7 to 1 at one point, but with delgado and pujols both hitting grand slams and home-runs. Sadly beltran couldn't do that in game 7 in the 2006 NLCS :( oh well good times!

I was at that game, Pujols had two homeruns 7 RBIS including a Grand Slam it was my first Cardinal Game and im a huge Cardinal Fan and then we left in the eigth and as we were walking to the bus we heard the stadium erupt with cheers and we knew the Cardinals lost

Well the Cards weren't the best team, they took advantage of several big Met losses, but as for being the better team, they were the worst team in the playoffs. but they pulled it out so i give em credit
