For the ones that say that its wrong to roll a D6 for a saving throw or whatever, you can not really have played a lot with DMs streamlining certain events / added random rolls that could result in severe punishment because you did something stupid.

While playing, the DMs voice is the LAW! If he wants to simplify something down to a single D6 roll, you have nothing to say against it :P

Elves can buy a bow bonus at character creation. And being a Mage with a bow makes me think she's a spell archer. One of the deadliest types of mages. you never know what kind of shit they're going to enchant on their arrows.
