thank you thank you thank you. thank you for never giving up on music and sharing amazing music like this with everybody else. truly fantastic and glorious. i wish the modern person would open their eyes and accept that this, music-wise, is what is all about, and not some computers making beats over and over again. thank you thank you.
Well done, good sir! Absolutely brilliant technique. Everyone I know seems to have a Schilke picc, I wonder if their larger horns are as good. I have played on a Schilke mouthpiece for quite some time, they are excellent.
In my experience, everyone has a very different set of chops, for example Arturo Sandoval has played lead on a Bach 1 1/2C. My (admittedly unrequested) advice to you would be bring your horn with you to a decent music store and try some out, and find the one that feels right for you. However, I am extremely fond of Schilke as a marke (not a salesperson), and have played a 14 (~ Bach 3C) for around six years or so. I hope this helped a little bit, even though I am not Markus.
Absolut exzellent!
Da kann der Herr Gómez-Limón noch eín paar Jährchen üben, bis er auch mal soweit ist...

May I please ask you Markus:
What type of mouthpiece do you use?
For myself, I onced used a 'Besson 5' mouthpiece for many years on a cornet, but my progress was limited (I think)
In your experience;
What is the best type of mouthpiece to use..to best effect...as you have demonstrated by your most faultless playing...that I could use?
Though I am over 64 years old, given your advice/judgement, I am sure I can still play equally as well.
Your advice is most welcome,
John

Markus and Peter,
Your playing is a sheer joy and a delight to my ear!
I love the most expressive tones of the Piccolo Trumpet and the brillant Organ accompaniment .
Thanks indeed!
