  • Holy crap, it;s John Molo from Bruce Hornsby and the range on drums!!!

  • There is usually 4to6 dislikes on all the music and bands you listen to they must be related and mentally challenged.

  • Maybe I'm getting old but the difference between this and music you hear on rock stations today is that the new shit they put out now doesn't make me want to go out and learn to play them on guitar... Am I just old and cranky or do kids actually listen to a Theory of a Deadman song and say "cool man, I'm going to learn that one"??

  • @cibociscool They actually listen to it... I know it's bad.

  • The six dislikes can suck a big gator dick....This my music when I hit the La. state line after a run to Big D....Always got to hit up Born on the Bayou...Love Fogerty and when I pass the HooDoo capital of Arcadia La. I give a big Rebel Yell!!! Cajun Out!!!

  • I remember riding down the road in my uncles truck listening to CCR....those where the days....R.I.P uncle Carl i love u buddy.

  • thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!

  • sixties had such fab music

  • He is the reason why I play and damn i hope I get to be go as him !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fogarty does just as well now as he did in 69. He's the man, the Mayor of good ol bluesy rock 'n' roll. go John...do it for all of us.

  • There are those who argue over the 'greatest guitarists of all time' and pick apart their technical abilities; judging heavily on who can cram the most notes into a measure accurately.

Few of the usual suspects make me scrunch up my face into a grimace and bob my head like Fogerty does with his deliciously simple, filthy dirty riffage. When I get bored with music (often), I come back to this.

    God bless Fogerty.

  • @jerkmcgerkin that is nice!

  • how do guys born aqnd bough up in Cali sound like they got born an grew up in the deep crayfish eating south instead?

  • John Fogerty = Epic Win

  • nothing more than a power singer and a good old song ... : pleasure !

  • pure happiness !

  • Just saw this for the first time, those opening haunting notes brought a tear to my eyes. Awseome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its a great dvd I love it !!! got it for 9.99 at Target when it first came out,,,,tombstone shadow is awesome too...

  • Five peoples love Justin Bieber

  • What ever it is, he oozes it.

  • This is just Fantastic Music, great singer, lot of soul!

  • He's still got it :)

  • pure magic - the old dudes still move the people and ROCK - no gaga, no silly narcissistic WHINING - just REAL EMOTION. GO GUYS. TILL YOU DIE.

  • John Fogerty = pure epicnessess.

  • John is the man

  • He still sounds like about 40 years ago, great!

  • I bet your feet don't start tapping to the tune within the first minute!

  • I bet your feet don't start tapping to the tune withing the first minute!

  • This performance proves Fogerty is the greatest pure rock n' roll master of the last 40 years. Nobody puts out a better sound than this guy. Great songwriter, guitar player, and even in his 60's the man can belt out this song in the original key as great as ever. My 34 year old ass still can't sing this song without killing my throat! John will be kicking all our butts when he's 80!

    FOGERTY FOREVER!

  • He sounds just like he did back in the day.

  • He's still got that awesome John Fogerty voice! He sounds great!

  • John...sorry I waited a few decades...maybe too late...will you marry me?

  • BORN ON THE BAYOU!!!!!!!! man I love this song in my opinion it's way better than ANY modern rock and roll song out today

  • How did Helen Keller manage to vote 4 times?

  • You hear the tone of that Gold Top... my God. He makes it sing.

  • One of my favourite all time New Orleans Jazzfest memories: John Fogerty opening his set with "Born on the Bayou". Fogerty had sworn that he would never again perform any CCR songs live, but just a couple of months before the Fest, he changed his mind and blessed everyone with a long list of CCR classics. With the Bayou St. John as the backdrop, friends by my side and the hot sun in my face...it truly doesn't get much better than this.

  • Ahhh, I see. He plays two different E7 chords. Thanks Mr. Fogerty. ;)

  • @Kjelldon You caught that too? Good eye/ear!

  • top notch video!! fabulous quality, thanks you!!

  • John Rocks! - He can still play a mean guitar!

  • Love this song, But excatly how does one "Jubilan"?

  • I may only be 22 but I know good music Love you John Never Stop Sing till your in the grave.

  • @2:36 - 3:06 - hang in there base player - only blind focus can keep up with him.

  • Fogerty is one hell of a guitarplayer.totally underrated.

was he even in that rolling stones 100 world's greatest guitar players?

i just caught that slash, daughtry, kroeger cover of this classic, total DOGSHIT!

    i don't believe ANYBODY should cover ccr,hendrix doors.floyd.zeppelin.

  • sounds jus like 1970!!!

  • You really cant get enough of this song! way too short!!!

  • A true ICON. One of if not the best. Keep on keepin on John.

  • There's no CCR without John Fogerty !

  • With CCR and alone, the sound was truly unique and unmatched by any other artist. Like the Beach Boys, this is the perfect example of American music that could never be duplicated by anyone. Timeless, even to this day.

  • ...and may John Fogerty bless America....!!!!!

  • LOved it ! Check out my amateur drunk attempt at a local bar!

  • oh my god, Rod Fogerty is a Genius!! and he play football very good oH! wow!

  • he played this like he just wrote it.

  • Awesome... One of the best Rock Bands and lead singers of all times.

    Respect

  • stu cook doug clifford john fogerty all alive all can play music but they all cant get along.

  • One of the best things to come out of the 70's... Hail John and CCR

  • John unfortunatley gets not enough praise for his playing... He's one helluva guitar player, truly original style.

  • @georgeisupset Yeah, his whole singing, playing, songwriting, performing is one hell of a package. The solidest guy in his trade. And I agree with you about what you said. Perfectly true!

  • Still as good as ever!!

  • Hail John Fogerty

-and may the devil take away the stinking carcass of that living tub of slime -Saul Zaentz!

  • Jeez!!!

That guy is a dead ringer for Stu Cook!!

Looks like half of the original band is on stage! hahahahah!!

  • Anyone could say me if the bass is Stu Cook?

  • @sameri2002 yeah i researched it and found out it wasnt Stu but yeah he looks so much like him its crazy!

  • You're right, recently i obtain the full DVD of that concert (great) and John says that the bass are "his good friend George Halpin", or a name like, i'm sure that he says George but i'm not so sure with the name. I advise you to try to get the full concert, the name is Long Road Home. See you

  • is that Stu Cook on bass?

  • I wish it was...

  • Fantastic. Love the intensity of this; the gritty vocals and John's superb work on the Les Paul. A great song performed by one of the world's greatest performers who I've seen a couple of times recently - man he kicks hard! Go Johnny go!!

  • que bien canta me gusta bien tuanis

  • the drummer is doing the beat wrong. its with the Hi-hat not the ride.Wish he did like the original more cause it gives more umph

  • Thats the man!!! He is gonna kick ass untill they put him in the ground..... Tear it up John!!!

  • @gk250 is he the same guy who sang hotel California?

  • @ilikesuzuki No John Fogerty had nothing to do with Hotel California: Song: Hotel California Artist: Eagles Written: 1976 Album: Hotel California Track: 1 of 9 Writers: Don Felder/Don Henley/Glenn Frey Lead Vocals: Don Henley Drums: Don Henley Guitar 1: Don Felder Guitar 2: Joe Walsh Acoustic Guitar: Glenn Frey Bass: Randy Meisner

  • So a great, great SOUND !!!

  • My all-time favorite CCR song! Fogerty ROCKS & he's still got "it!" Hard to believe he's over 60 now. Rock on John!!!

  • Great performance.Wouldnt it be great ,if he got together with the original members of creedance? I think thats possibility.

  • Sadly, I know that Tom Fogerty and possibly one of the other members has since died.

  • This was a great version of this song. Great sound quality. If only Doug "Cosmo" Clifford was with him on drums for this tour, then he'd have that original CCR sound down 100%. I still was a bit surprised by this version. A lot better than other versions from his band(s) that I have heard in the past. I still favor the CCRevisited Band over any band John has put together yet.

  • 0.36-0.44 music sounds great

  • Somebody was wondering what a hoodoo is, it might be a racoon, not positive though. I remember getting the album born on the bayou in the early 70`s. It was one of those albums the more I listened to it, the more I like it. BOTB is my favourite CCR song no question. John`s voice sounds as good as ever The song matches the album cover. If you see it, you`ll know what i mean.

  • A-W-S-E-O-M-E

  • saw him a couple of days ago and hes great

  • gonna see him tonight....(chills)

  • Cool

  • buen representante de la música contri... Veo este video cada vez que puedo; no me lo pierdo por nada. Vale la pena.

  • muy bueno!!! la verdad!!!

  • i'm going to see him on may 17th....i hope he's still as kick ass at 63.

  • trust me he does ;)

  • Great

  • wow

  • My favorite of CCR. And, in my opinion, best of CCR's swamp rock!!

  • hell yeah!!!!!

  • Great John Fogerty 10 stars xxxxxxxxx great

  • Check out Kenny Aronoff.....On the Preminition CD "Live" Kennys drumming on the CD is great but on Born On A Bayou, he plays with great groove and fill...Myself being a drummer I listen for the little nuances in the songs, Kenny dint leave anything out from the original recording, he only played it within the same structure but like all of us put his own stamp on it...Its worth checking out......Then again I prefer the slower tempo more groove on this tune..But thats just me..

  • Very well done, but the drummer doesn't include the short snare rolls that really make this song so awesome for me. John still rocks it, though.

  • That's John Molo on the kit. Played all the unforgetable stuff with Bruce Hornsby and The Range. Molo is one of the best drummers on the planet. Just a different time and different interpretation. Having said that.........I agree with you. Molo should have stayed true to the original.

I know him well. Think I'll give him a ring with a little scold for that.

  • Thanks I have always wondered. thanx
