I use both, Linux and Windows, but honestly...playing this on win is very...well the only thing i can say is "sad". Didn't want to offend anyone but as a windows user for 10 years, i realized that Linux is doing enormous progresses and i wanna follow them closely. Nowadays it has almost everything that win$, but without it's problems. Correct me if i'm wrong, but this game was released originally for Linux...so for one good game for Linux, it deserves some respect xD.

Cool. I think turn-based games should remain in this manner; pixelated and simple. Because if we want superior graphics, we will be playing FPS or RPG like MW2 or WoW. Turn-based games should be as clear and simple as a Chess set, not chaotic and messy like those fast-paced games because we need the clarity to decide our next moves, just like chess.

But the gameplay is nice! Some battlew can take a lot of time but for who like Strategy is a very good game!

The newest version has a much more consistent style of graphics. A new, and very beautiful, portrait style is gradually replacing the old portraits, and many of the unit sprites are also being replaced with much better looking ones that fit one single style.
