  • How do u burn it to a cd?

  • funny dog anus

  • can you tell me how to sync the r 24 with my cubase on my laptop and how to inport the files so i can make my laptop sequenced with my r 24?

  • An enlightening tutorial, thanks for all your hard work and ...nice track!

  • Nice, but I'm still puzzled over one thing,do we need to swap tracks each time? Can't we just subsequently arm tracks 3/4 or 5/6 to receive audio from input 1/2.Thus files stay where they were recorded as we progress to furher tracks.

  • @nothingwojah Why do you bounce the tracks to 7-8 ? Couldn't you just record them there in the first place ? Thanks just wondering :)

  • @Jeepjones85 its just to demonstrate that you can. for example if you record some stuff using all the inputs with phantom power then you need to record with a mic that needs phantom power u can move your recorded audio so then its free but to be fair you have got 18 channels with phantom power in total so now im confused

  • How did you sync the Zoom R24 with your Boss drum machine? One thing that put me off buying it was the lack of MIDI in/out to enable syncing with hardware MIDI devices. Did you run it through a computer?

  • Nice, simple demo. Just got the R24 and your vid really helps. Thanks! Question though: how do you sync your DR-880 to the R24 so that the former starts when you hit play on the latter?

  • @MrMerlinball Thanks for watching. Glad I could steer you in the right direction. I don't know if you can sync the DR.880 that way with the R24. Sorry man

  • @MrMerlinball You cant sync the R24 to anything there is no midi ins/outs

  • Thanx from Holland Dude, now I understand.

  • I had the 4 track like back in 2002 and it sounded great!

  • Good demo however, you want to leave head room when setting the gain. If you record with the gain just under clipping, when mastering time comes around, you wont beable to compress the overall volume as much. Leaving a little headroom allows for you to bring the overall volume of your mix up farther without clipping the peaks.

  • Best tut i see by far but i was waiting on you to use the internal mic tho :(

  • @ooProduction Thanks. Sorry for not demoing the internal mics. Those things are never recording-worthy on any of these types of units. I'd say just to use them if you need to just remember something you wrote and have no other means for getting the idea down. Thanks again for watching.

  • @nothingwojah Can you do a vid reviewing the mic/ins on the back? I just want to hear what the pre-amps sound like because i'm thinking of getting one thanks!

  • thx for this. i spent many hours researching what i was going to buy and your video kinda' closed the deal!

  • @russellti You're welcome. Glad I could help.

  • Hey there, I have the zoom hd 16 which is very similar. I know how operate everything except for the drums. All I can do is continually loop the same two measures of the drums. How would you create two drum parts for say a verse and a chorus? Any info would be appreciated greatly. Thanks

  • @elyman6 Sorry I am not a virtuoso with the internal drums. I use the boss dr-880 for all my drum sounds.

  • did you put the bass guitar on seperately or did you make it using the r24

  • @porge97 I used the Boss dr-880 for the bass part. I do that with all my recordings. It sounds great and is a lot of fun

  • Great job Chris.

  • Thanks for an excellent video. Very informative and helpful. You have a nice touch on the guitar as well. All the best.

  • Thanks its great & easly teaching video +++++

  • Thanks for such a great demo of the r24. Good stuff :)

  • I just bought the R24, will be arriving today. i cannot thank you enough for this video, as this will certainly save me a lot of time. Great Job.

  • @rickbendel sure thing! thanks for watching.

  • actually, the audio sounds better during recording than in the final mix at the end. the H4N records the room sound as well as your guitar pick sound, which creates a way warmer natural sound. cool!

  • @dexfx69 yeah i was thinking the same thing. Thanks!

  • @nothingwojah It's a great accidental discovery, you've inspired me to now pump my dry mixes into a room then mic it for a warmer more natural sounding master.

  • is this a 16 or 24 bit recording?

  • your guitar style is so sweet it sounds like honey from heaven.

  • that sounds incredible man amazing job

  • Cubase sucks buddy!!!!!!!! lol

  • Great Video! My R24 will be here in the morning But it will be used to record 4 actors lavalier mics and a ambient track during an on location film shoot.

  • nice work...sounds great. Mine should be here today!

  • thanks for posting it..now I can start to make music

  • My r24 is in the post, I can not wait!

  • just brought one of these yesterday, this vid has been very helpfull, many thanks.
