I listened to albums "Leftoverture" and "Point of Know Return" so much that I think I wore out the grooves!!! Dam those were so good. When I was 16, my first GF actually knew the lyrics to "Miracles out of Knowwhere!!!" We sang it together the first time I went over to her house to make out. "The Wall" was my favorite song to sing for years, it just meant so much to me.... Ahhh, the good times!!!
My Dad went to school with Don Kirchner in Brooklyn. I myself stayed up late in my teens in NJ to wacth "Don Kirchner's Rock Concert" and "Soundstage."
I actually looked up Don a few years ago on the web and couldn't find him - til now!
In the late 70's I used to stay up until midnight just to watch Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. The one that really sticks in my memory is Bad Company "Feel Like Making Love", along with Styx. It sure would be great if all of them could be posted.
Damn have't thought about Don K since 73 with his ABC rock concerts.. comin home from drinking at 11:00 listening to Focus,Genisis and Al Green....Great stuff! Thanks
At 7:08 Don is saying something to Steve. I am aware that Don K. kind of told Steve one thing during his Ist solo album and never lived up to it. I do know there was bad feelings with Steve towards him for years. I feel you really see the 2 of them bury the hatchet at this very moment .
This is a piece of Kansas history ! Who is the older man to the right of Steve ? Anybody know ?
We really should all thank Don K . for what he did for them.
Wow! Loved that last picture of them all together...how time flies! Always pictured myself in the audience at Don Kirshner's Rock Concert featuring Kansas!..I can dream I guess! Thanks Arizona Basement!

You know,we all get older, our faces age with wrinkles, and gravity kicks in ,but Steve Walsh looks horrible. What the hell happened?
Regardless,he's my favorite of all time artist. He's the best!
