@robelinda2 I'm currently reading Greg Chappells autobiography, 'fierce focus'.He tells about how Ian got the nickname 'Chappeli', when him and Greg played in their first sheffield shield match at the Adelaide oval together, on the classic scoreboard they have they had Greg as 'Chappell' and Ian as 'Chappell i'. The more you know!

He might be a fiery customer who seemingly finds sunshine morbid, but he should be delighted that he played in an era where boundaries were not roped off & 98% of pitches were not flat, if anything they were uncovered. Furthermore he had opponents like Garner, Underwood et al., who would punish him for playing well. He contended with this & is still a great & as for "This is your Life" perhaps Beefy & Boycott should appear together & serenade him with I've Got You Under My Skin. Thanks :-)
