  • sorry to ask this but Jupiter is not a black and white planet then why its shown in b/w?

  • @singhparveen77 The camera I use is greyscale, it only records in black and white.

  • @ChrissyoSpace OK!!

  • Tell me, how do you do this (video threw your telescope?) thanks for any reply you give to me ;)

  • @EvilMatty12 Yup, I have a small camera that goes in the place of the eyepiece on the telescope. It's not like a regular video camera though, it's called a DMK21AU. You can still do pretty neat stuff with a regular video camera though, a lot of my older stuff used an old Panasonic video camera that was just held up to a regular eyepiece. Hope this helps!

  • Amazing quality dude. Too bad it's in black and white.

I have a cheap little telescope that I can see 4+ moons of jupiter through. Does yours capture less light?

  • нормал

  • The improvement in the image when processed is amazing.

I have an 8" telescope that gives similar images but I can see that if they were processed I'd get a better image too.

  • What is the focal length of your 10 inch Newtonian?

  • Sorry for the late reply, I missed this comment earlier. My 10" Newt has a focal length of 1250mm

  • in the next summer also I will buy a newtonian from 10' '

  • a week ago Jupiter was incredibly bright in the sky, first thought it was Venus but it stayed in the sky until late in the night so I figured it was probably Jupiter since it's the second brightest planet after Venus.

  • sweet -- thanks for posting this.

looks like i better get a look at the impact soon or it will dissipate too much to see...

  • Is that one of Jupiter's moons there at 0:14?

  • Yup, it's Io.

  • awesome :)

and go check out the cloud debri :).

  • never mind..XD you already took a pic of it :)..

  • Very well done, just had a quick glimpse of Jupiter myself a few min ago with a relatively small reflector...didn't exactly see the same sort of quality through mine lol.

    Good work.

  • Thanks! It's a great sight through a telescope, no matter what the size. :)

  • Cool, thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks! :)
