regards Tuhons, i have personally trained with some of the top sayocs including Tuhon Tom Khier, and steve lefebre, and i can assure you Tom is as real as it gets, youd rather have him on your side rather than the other way round, as most likely you will die, i love his killing mentality and how he switches on, ive trained with some good guys but Tuhon tom khier is among the juggernaughts of warriors

I've had the pleasure of being on the mat with Tom and he is the most dangerous man I've ever met. Sayoc is a Filipino art of the Sayoc clan. I've studied six martial arts including samurai sword, (Please see Yanagi). See the movie The Hunted. Tom was the consultant. He's as light on his feet as a ballet dancer. He asked for a job as a bouncer at the toughest bars in hilly and he got into a fight almost every night. When he get a certain look in his eyes, he looks like he will kill you.

I dont know about that tom kier guy. If you study the real masters, knife work is mostly footwork and drills not so much defenses against single movements. You have to work the positive and negative angles of attack not just one at a time because your skills will diminish with age and you will choke in a survival situation. Usually the real masters will focus on 2 or more movements that can defend against a variety of attacks not just boom I got it by doing this. This is not filipino knife comba

I had the honor of working with Tuhon Tom a while back - he is one of the most genuine people in the martial arts today. Until you have worked with him (or anyone for that matter) I would refrain from comments. His systems and techniques are highly effective. In fact, I would say that his perceived fitness would indicate that his techniques are even more effective, especially as he proves you don't have to look like GSP to keep yourself and your family alive!

@robtuckermhk I agree, you don't need to look like a body-builder. Tuhon Tom looks like a fully functional power-lifter for strength, even if he didn't have a knife, I still wouldn't pick a fight with that guy!
