The 2 things that are holding the Wii back from greatness is the online sucks for the most part and there is little 3rd party support. If they can make the online better then that will help get some more support. Also, they need to use some of the peripherals more. I mean the WiiSpeak is used in what, 3 games? Seriously, they need to incorporate things like that more.

The Wii is one of the best (if not) innovative consoles ever put out on the market. While the PS2/3 can play DVDs (and cause of that the Dreamcast lost the selling market in japan but sold what they thought in America) The Wii has some many new ways to play that it can make anyones head spin. Anyone who says the it sucks clearly hasnt played a game on the Wii that meets their tastes. A lot of Wii games are family frendly and so hardcore gamers (like me) have a limited games but the few are good.

graphics go with PS3 but who wants to sit down and use a joystick once you realize your whole living room is now the joystick. And plus add to it the balance board and you got yourself a really good list of games.

The 2nd generation of Wii will probably be 1080p and it's due to be out in xmas 2010. So meanwhile, practice wii and start listing the box for sale (it's already $165 in stores).
