I understand that speed glue is not banned, it is only that the speed glue should not have a toxic solvent. In that sense a speed glue with water as solvent would not be banned.

Usually Korean penholders' careers start decline when they're 25 or 26 because of the physically demanding play. (Chinese penholders like Ma Lin use more finesse as opposed to footwork and raw power.) Ryu Seung Min was very fortunate that Athens in 2004 happeneded during his peak when he was 22. He is 26 almost 27 now and I'll be very surprised if he will be able to stay around much longer. =[.

If you watch Ryu vs Wang in the 2004 MS Olympics final you see him fly everywhere. Now you see him just chill with his backhand block and slowly lose the point.
