Won't go into the mathematics but this circular wedge can have an increase in thickness in a much more efficient way than a straight wedge

Don't see the advantage over the old standby of shoving a bit of card under the leg... And if this is a commercial product you should have got a proper video made! It all seems a bit like the sort of thing you'd see laughed out of Dragon's Den..
