Tbh the whole "no villain" thing has been done before, in classic WoW. There were no main bosses, just a whole bunch of different ones. thats part of what made classic feel so great because it wasn't linear like expansions. Ontop of that with the PvE scenarios there will be world bosses again. And what they've done with the bgs will make them more fun and competitive. If anything this expansion should feel like classic again.

I think playing as a Pandaren will be awesome, though i hope that they will found something cool as a "mount" It would be stupid if they let 'em run on 4 legs like the worgen, but on the other side it's hard to think of something else to give them
People need to realize and quit complaining about this new talent system. One issue that has been brought up constantly in Cata is certain classes that are OP/under powered. Less talent schemes will only make it easier to balance, taking into consideration that a large portion of past talents are now passives
I am exited for the expansion, but just because it will be more stuff to do and interesting uptades etc, i mean any update would be better than nothing cause everybody has pretty much done every imaginable achies etc because they are like bored to death. I like the expansion, but NOT the talent system... Fuuuuuu, it should be way more like.... Im pumped for the new expan and I am very much ready to beta test it. I hear all my friends going on about how "Awesome" SW;TOR is yet they seem to forget that I do not care, but then again they are shallow minded and think "Oh its all brand new" when really its not. Maybe some new stuff for a MMO but overall nothing that new. So I rather stick with WoW because 1. I am happy with it 2. I am enjoying the story progression and 3. It will keep going on till bliz says "We are not furthering WoW"

i used to love this game due to its complexity , rotations and good combos where taken away because of new OP spells and abilities and talents requiring less and less thinking .=>Replacing talent tree with a list of spells and put other in the spell book fails
I think blizzard are making too many changes in classes to the point where it could potencialy change the core game experience of most classes dramatically. This is very risky for any game.
my only issue is with balance druid talents its eather we pick from bear talants cat talents or talents of spells that already exist. and almost all the talents are completely useless for balance druids.

The Pandaren will allow the world to live on because of their peace that they bring. If there weren't a main enemy, the Horde and Alliance will destroy each other again. The Pandaren will end this.

Alright im not the best played but i have to say... the new talent system is making alot of old players mad because the stupid people ruin raids, healing,dps and they all got easier, faster, and overpowered. Now they add the simple talent points. Now you cant use your own skills at building your talents and now you have to automatically get full build in that one point, so you cant build in a couple points here and there. I think blizzard did great on the rest. Monks and Pandas seem pretty cool!

It is easy for people to get caught up on a troll and follow all the negative comments much like a snowball rolling downhill the quicker roles momentum it picks up and in this case that momentum is negativity. Well, I just wish game companies weren't required to cater to a mass audience. That wasn't the case 10 years ago, which was the height of my gaming days. I was 13-14, and I played DAoC. Sure, maybe I wasn't mature enough to experience the end-game content in any meaningful way, but there was a challenge and mystique to the game that is just lost now. It was a smaller community of generally like-minded players, and even though I was pretty young I don't remember ever getting hassled about it.
I think one of the problems is that the mass audience is fucking stupid.
One of the problems with the new WoW is that most of the content is just too easy to blow through. It's not about getting your friends together to kill bosses or win battlegrounds; nowadays, it's all about the points. Gotta get your weekly Conquest and Valor, gotta farm mats for some gold, gotta get those achievements. There's no time to smell the roses, we just want to have everything we want now.
Talent system sucks, atleast for Mages, almost ALL talents are for PvP, and absolutly no talents for damage in PvE, all mages will be exactly the same.
@LordShigi Look at the big picture - the talents are more for utility than for helping to increase your damage or healing or whatever. This is what Blizzard is hoping to avoid cookie-cutter specs. Also, mages are not the only class affected.
To revive WoW, you need something like TBC, new world, not a new continent... WHY YOU ALWAYS HEAR WHINING "OH VANILLA WAS BEST!"? That is because we had something new to explore, SAME exact thing is with TBC, cuz it was a new world, and MOP will be a fucking turtle with forests growing on its back... =

If only everyone could think like you :) On the end boss part, I hope they give us a little more credit for defeating Deathwing in MoP then they have before. Every expansion it was like Oke, you saved the world, but I never heard of you. They did it a little in the starting zones of the new content, but never further in to the game. Yes I want the people to stand around me and cheer just like the Draenei get when they complete Azuremyst Isle.
If they update the player models and skins I'll be happy. Seeing the Goblin and Worgen skins and models really puts a spotlight on how outdated the old skins and models really are. I'm not torn up about the Panderans. The people who are are just being childish, and complaining despite the fact that the race brings with it a new zone and all that entails....well, they need to calm down. It's kinda embarrassing for them.
Blizzard are taking it too far to become a casual game. I mean going from 71 talent point to what? 5?? Mists of Pandaria is a joke and I belive that all the actual serious WoW player are considering quitting the game before its released.
I think Mists will either make or break WoW. I know everyone says that about every expansion, but Wrath and Cata have in my opinion, not ruined WoW, but have made it "worse" than the previous expansion. There are record amounts of people already leaving WoW, so if this flops as well, I think a massive amount of people will leave for good. If they do well with it, then it can revive WoW, with them changing so much, it may even feel like a new game, for a while at least.
@HavikZeroX Totallt, tho, i dont share the oppinion that the newer expansions have made wow worse, if you compare the content the newer stuff is way more advanced and fun, i think it just feels like the game is getting worse because you are getting tired of it, you cant do the same game 7 years straight and still love it as much:/

@darthguy3 I'm not sure what your argument or point was. If 2.4 million people unsubscribe and only a couple thousand new people subscribe, that is not rising fame. It is losing fame, period. I love WoW, but the rest of the gaming community doesn't feel the same over the last couple expansions. So like I said, if MoP goes poorly, I think WoW will fall below even the 10 million mark, which would be a pretty big deal. I hope you don't mean the language filter...that has always been there?

Wherever I look now I only find that the number of subscribers is at 10.3, but I'd been told it was somewhere around 13-14 which is more than the 12 there was back when I played it. 10.3 is considerably less than 12 though, so it seems you're right! @HavikZeroX I don't think any of the expansion packs released so far has made the game worse. It has to evolve, like everything else in this world, nothing can ever stay the same. People can reminisce but the fact of the matter is that if it was still the same deal as back in classic people would be leaving for that reason instead. And I believe that out of all the people who've left wow recently, a good deal with come back in MoP, along with a lot of new players!
I like the way you ended you're video... buffing rogues pisses off mages (and blabla) that sounds like a never ending battle just like WOW... just wow great way to end it and that's so right
I like the idea of MoP, I also think they fit in well with the lore, especially now when it just gets harder and harder to convice players that this new threat "really is the big one this time". This gives blizzard a chance to let the story unfold instead of feeling like we have a set goal to reach and once reached 'thats all folks'. I think they started to move in the right direction during the middle of wrath, kept the pace with cata and will hopefully start to come into fruition during MoP.
@scientolofag 11/29 might be a good candidate. They said that's when the new PvP season would start and then they tweeted "read into that whatever you'd like" (or something like that)
It seems cool to be honest, but how about making money, auction houses, those will probably change, I think. Their main objective was; making it accesable for kids, no kid will understand anything about AH. The AH will be destroyed, wouldn't it?

about the no auto-attack, i played Everquest for 6 years. every class had an auto-attack even the Monk class. the difference in the monk classes between EQ and WoW is that the monk class in EQ was the most racialy exclusive class in the game with origionally only 1 race being able to be monks then for 4 years it was only 2 races.and as far as i know they haven't opened it up to more than the 3 races that were able to be that class when i quit playing EQ.

If only everyone could think like you :) On the end boss part, I hope they give us a little more credit for defeating Deathwing in MoP then they have before. Every expansion it was like Oke, you saved the world, but I never heard of you. They did it a little in the starting zones of the new content, but never further in to the game. Yes I want the people to stand around me and cheer just like the Draenei get when they complete Azuremyst Isle.

If they update the player models and skins I'll be happy. Seeing the Goblin and Worgen skins and models really puts a spotlight on how outdated the old skins and models really are. I'm not torn up about the Panderans. The people who are are just being childish, and complaining despite the fact that the race brings with it a new zone and all that entails....well, they need to calm down. It's kinda embarrassing for them.

I think Mists will either make or break WoW. I know everyone says that about every expansion, but Wrath and Cata have in my opinion, not ruined WoW, but have made it "worse" than the previous expansion. There are record amounts of people already leaving WoW, so if this flops as well, I think a massive amount of people will leave for good. If they do well with it, then it can revive WoW, with them changing so much, it may even feel like a new game, for a while at least.

@darthguy3 I'm not sure what your argument or point was. If 2.4 million people unsubscribe and only a couple thousand new people subscribe, that is not rising fame. It is losing fame, period. I love WoW, but the rest of the gaming community doesn't feel the same over the last couple expansions. So like I said, if MoP goes poorly, I think WoW will fall below even the 10 million mark, which would be a pretty big deal. I hope you don't mean the language filter...that has always been there?

Wherever I look now I only find that the number of subscribers is at 10.3, but I'd been told it was somewhere around 13-14 which is more than the 12 there was back when I played it. 10.3 is considerably less than 12 though, so it seems you're right! My bad!

@HavikZeroX I don't think any of the expansion packs released so far has made the game worse. It has to evolve, like everything else in this world, nothing can ever stay the same. People can reminisce but the fact of the matter is that if it was still the same deal as back in classic people would be leaving for that reason instead. And I believe that out of all the people who've left wow recently, a good deal with come back in MoP, along with a lot of new players!

I like the idea of MoP, I also think they fit in well with the lore, especially now when it just gets harder and harder to convice players that this new threat "really is the big one this time". This gives blizzard a chance to let the story unfold instead of feeling like we have a set goal to reach and once reached 'thats all folks'. I think they started to move in the right direction during the middle of wrath, kept the pace with cata and will hopefully start to come into fruition during MoP.

about the no auto-attack, i played Everquest for 6 years. every class had an auto-attack even the Monk class. the difference in the monk classes between EQ and WoW is that the monk class in EQ was the most racialy exclusive class in the game with origionally only 1 race being able to be monks then for 4 years it was only 2 races.and as far as i know they haven't opened it up to more than the 3 races that were able to be that class when i quit playing EQ.
