God man, I wish I could journey back to the time period between 1982-88 when Death Metal, thrash, and hardcore were blending the lines a bit resulting in so many extreme bands. Slayer, D.R.I, Repulsion, Slaughter, Rigor Mortis, Nihilist, the goes on.
extremely unknown fact: Chuck and the boys from Slaughter composed/recorded a demo tape under the name THE CURSE. Won't find that on Metal Archives. Contact if interested.
I think you meant Disentegrator/Incinerator, not Strappado/Incinerator ;-)
Nice to see some Slaughter stuff on YouTube (finally!). This is a great song, and nice footage for what it's worth. I'd easily pay to see this and Tortured Souls in high quality too!
Oh, you not capitalizing your name any longer, Terry? One of those artist-formerly-known-as deals? ;-) We can talk about those adapters I saw at Future Shop for doing that upload.
Hi.. kind of a surprise. I would love to see the whole thing in high quality, if you need any help converting your tape to format or uploading it let me know and I will help in anyway I can. I would even go as far as to prepare everything at my home and mail it back to you in Divx format. :)
And we also have a word from Terry Sadler himself!!
Well, for those of you more ignorant about the present, there was a Official CD (I think) that saw the light of day one of these years, with the recordings of Slaughter with Mr. Evil Chuck.
Now Terry, tell us, we hear a lot, but no one says it correctly, what were the reasons for Chuck leaving Slaughter? Did you actually kick him off?
Chuck was told it wasn't going to work out after he was overheard referring to Slaughter as HIS new band during a phone call while staying with the band in Canada. He only rehearsed with them, he was never an official member so he couldn't exactly be kicked out.
I suggest you buy "Fuck Of Death" from Hells Headbangers as the whole story is listed in it.
Death, in my eyes, is just a fanboy band in the sense that EVERYONE who hears death instantly wants to claim that they created death metal. Fuck Death and I hope Chuck rolls in his grave (harsh? yes)
on that note though...why didn't he jus come back to Canada. We have healthcare here.
If they didn't create it, who did? Don't say Possessed because they were out before them. Hellhammer had a demo or two out in 83, so you could make the arguement for them. Slayer and Venom were not death metal so I'm not counting them. Either way, Death (still called Mantas at the time) were around since about 83 and did their first demo the next year. So if they weren't the first, they were damn close and ONE of the pioneers of the style
You can't say who exactly created death metal. That therm didn't even exist at that time.
Mantas (east coast), possessed (west coast).
and remember that on the same time, on south america, bands like sarcófago, sepultura, vulcano(brazil) and pentagram (chile) were borned... also considered death metal later.
@GizzalM ha ha ok ill pretend your right....yeah chuck didnt transcend death metal and create his own brand of metal.how primitive and narrow...too easy to fake it isnt it.human alone by its lonesome destroys the fake orra of death metal.none of these guys have sliced anything except pizza.never bash schuldiner in any way what so ever.theres no way you believe that nonsense or are you the one who thinks only the shittiest quality and goriest lyrics are the truth.shit me a corpse.. fuck you turd.
I know the quality of the clip isn't the best, but it may be the only one to have survived for all we know. I'm glad you like it though... nothing like the good old days of thrash circa 85-88.. it was a great time with great shows.

This is terry from Slaughter.
I have a good quality vid of this but no way to upload to computer.
We actually filmed 6 songs for this video session: "F.O.D.", "Nocturnal hell", "Tortured Souls" and "Parasites" I believe.
Those songs are around but I have never even seen a copy...
Thanks for posting this Mr Evil...;-)

Fuck Death. Pompus fucking pricks.
"Scream Bloody Gore" is a fuckin "Seven Churches" rip-off and "Spiritual Healing" is the musical equal to jacking off.
