I dont understand this kind of things, it seems like you have a guitar that costs USD1000 but you have a very bad sound for me , i hope you dont get this wrong, im on peace. haha just using a boss metal zone you could have a very better sound. nice playing btw.

@ciromago The main reason the sound isn't that good is because it was directly recorded by the camera's microphone. Since this past September I've been recording the sound directly to the camera while playing, and I've been using an HD camera instead.

Hey good stuff man. Sounds great. I would say that this is a little more bluesy than it is dorian - especially the notes that you bend to. They tend to be more blues notes than right in the dorian mode. Also, to get a true "dorian" sound, you really have to emphasize the flat 7 a bit more. Not trying to knock your playing, just a theoretical note. Keep it up!

In fact I was just soloing on the dorian SCALE, I wasn't really trying to get a dorian SOUND. Thank you for your kind words and advice!
