Firstly remove the front plough from the pendolino body. Then I made a brass link which was fixed to the bottom centre of the front bogey it must be able to pivot without fouling the wheels. The front of the link had a kadee coupling attached and that was that

With dcc you can set the trains up to move at the same time so it looks like they are coupled together

Yes the pendolino does have rubber traction tyres . You remove them and the motor from the power car..

It is not difficult. you have to undo the housing and remove the motor and the wires to the motor too.
