haha the description is so true, and this is my favorite laos video. there are good things about tourism, too, as long as the local villages remain somewhat autonomous. i read about many places in lao using sustainable tourism models, but i only got to travel the classic route for two weeks. i spent a week in vang vieng and want to go back. its so easy to get away from everything on a bike, or be in the middle of the chaos on the nam song. next time im bringing my bike
