You shouldn't have to explain to the host what Glass-Stegall was. Terrible how "Jason" blantanly lied like that.

I never explained to the host or listeners, that Glass-Steagall was legislation (law) designed to prevent another speculative bubble on Wall Street like the one in the 1920's. It separated investment banks (Wall Street) from commercial banks (Main Street). It was on the books for 70 years, Congress (LoBiondo) repealed it in 1999, paving the way for the Wall Street take over of banks, and ultimately the "creative" loan products that fueled the housing bubble up through 2007
