The strange thing was that each time they recounted the same votes, the numbers kept getting closer and closer together. If I were to speculate, I would guess votes were being changed in FAVOR of Al Gore.

What is really going on here is that the RNC underground attack machine is coming to the realization that McCain will lose to Obama. They are laying the groundwork to de-legitimize an Obama presidency by planting the seeds of doubt that the election was somehow stolen. They send their minions out to ACORN voter registration events and fill out fraudulent voter registration forms. Then they cry foul and demand an investigation. The right wing media picks it up and whips everyone into a frenzy.
