  • @BRAGG43 Hey dumbass! If you look carefully at the video, like you're supposed to, then you would notice that the catcher isn't touching the plate!

  • ur a dumbass u should no thats a force out if u know anything about baseball if thhays how littlr u no u shouldnt even hav thay game dumbass

  • why do you have to show so many angles just show the damn video

  • i believe this is called a phantom tag, since it is a force out situation they dont have to tag the player or touch the plate, you see this in a lot of double play scenarios, the second baseman never touches the plate and throws to first for the double.

  • Honestly it looks like he removed his foot a half second after he got the ball therefore he is out

  • first off, if your actually pissed about this then you have no life at all, secondly, on a hit to the outfield you should score easily, regardless of force play or not, and thirdly, next time you make a video try not to pause it for half a minute while rotating the camera angle... that might be the reason you have just as many dislikes as likes

  • Haha was it a force play?

  • lol

  • Jerry Meals?

  • either way very bad call

  • lol

  • ur out if that was a force play btw.

  • @bleakilla He was clearly off the plate tho.

  • MLB 11: The Show

  • 2k doesnt suck because on my wii there is never a glitch but when i play on my cousins 360 it glitches. it is the system you dip-wads, not 2ks fault

  • ok i know what this is..... I am an vaseball umpire and this is called a "neighbourhood " play... It is a rupe athat was brought in to the game of baseball to avoid injuries... As long as the players foot is close wnough to the base that the out would have been made any way it is still out

  • WHAT WAS THAT!

  • definitely graphical error

  • Was it a force

  • just get a mother fuckin angle and show the damn play!!!

  • @perrydaplatypus9 the play was shown, the vid has 18k views, and still some people don't understand what i am meaning. Yes The Bases were loaded, this is a force out at the plate, however as you can clearly see the catchers foot is way off of home plate, yet the runner is called out anyway. Is this graphical error or Horrible programming or wtf is it because its Lame. And 2k10 was hardly better! 2ksports Sux ass

  • @drbeerman3 the nfl 2k games and the nba 2k's are awesome. nba 2k11 is the best game ive played.

  • @drbeerman3 Dude this is a video game, so sometimes the foot is off the bag and they still call him out, it happens all the time, no glitch

  • the umpire dosnt have any eys mabey

  • Hello force played baseball before

  • This is the most realistic game to date... they got Scott Barry as the home plate umpire!

  • thts bc it wasent a force playdummie motha fucka bitch man u dum u dnt not notin about baseball

  • @LittleTeckJerks And you don't know anything about grammar.

  • Comment removed

  • @LittleTeckJerks hey its bs not bc

  • @chrissnyy it meens because u bitch

  • @LittleTeckJerks two things, learn how to spell correctly, and you have no idea about baseball, get off the internet kid and play outside

  • @Lixouar i dnt have to kid how bout make everybody a favor hang ur self even though i dnt now u. u still ugly thts a fact and its called figure of speech look it up and thts how i right its faster u dumbass

  • @LittleTeckJerks ok asswipe, how about your probably a 10 year old kid who has never got any attention in real life, so you rely on the internet for safety, or you could be the ugliest ass kid who is like 200 pounds. and dont make predictions just because you think you can your better than everyone, go get a jumprope and play outside, you can't hide from the truth dumbass. also work on your grammer, that was not a paragraph, it was just you trying to seem cool

  • lol that happened to me once playin that game

  • dude stop pausing it just get on with the vid

  • 2k9 is terrible. The show kicks its ass.

  • 2k9 sucks!

  • Your game doesn't suck, Jim Joyce was behind the plate

  • I think it was a force out but the runner at third thought the ball was going to be caught so he didnt go right away

  • error. lol

  • The ump called out

  • You supposed to catch that ball and pivot your feet and move facing the runner to make the tag whats up with this??

  • This is is a shuddabeen play. The runner should have been out on the easy force. The catcher is in the vicinity of the plate and that is fine. He moves off to avoid a possible collision or injury. Believe it or not some runners try to take the catcher out with a purposeful hit on such plays. Had it been a close play (not a force) with the catcher blocking the plate the tag and possession would have to be confirmed before the call by the ump.

  • Looks like a force play and his foot was VERY close to home plate at the time he caught the ball...who knows.

  • you can't see the whole field, and the way the catcher is standing on home makes me think that he is trying to keep his foot on like a first baseman? why? because it's a force out not a graphical error

  • this game is way sucks...i hate it as a baseball fan cant stand it

  • graphical error

  • with 2k9, everyting is wrong

  • With the way the post season umpiring is going, I think that's just 2K making it as real as it gets.

  • thats not either thats umpiring at its finest ...

  • graphical error...totaly

  • @fishtacosunite mostly but It's a lil of both

  • it probably was a forced out buddy

  • Ok idc bout the bugs or glitches i just like it because i enjoy itt!!

  • If it was a force play, then it was a glitch where the umpire thought his foot was on home plate lol

  • your foot is not on the base

  • what the hell? there was no tag and the catcher was off of the plate. its almost like the ump gave a vicinity call like we do for calls at second sometimes....that was bad :(

  • the sick part is that the ball bounced between the legs of the pitcher before it got to the catcher

  • was that supposed to be a safe

  • foot was definitely off the bag. very safe

  • maybe the bases were loaded so it was a force cause the catcher streched to tag home

  • yeah but his foot was off the plate

  • you are supposed to tag him

  • no its he's not, its a force play

  • Graphical for sure.

  • no no no is the graphical

  • they make wrong calls all the time in this game it gets me so mad

  • You wasted money bro, you should have gone with 09 the show its fucking sick.

  • yeah dude i sould've

  • same thing with arod he was on the mariners and rangers

  • thats a graphical error

  • haha you think thats bad i was playing the ps2 version and the cpu team hit the ball it was a flyball i catch it and they dont call it an out. so they hit it again same thing and still wasnt a out.

  • haha

  • MLB 2K9 might possibly be one of the worst sports games ever made.

  • was the runner at home forced out or was he running in on his own?

  • yea it had to be a force out

  • i love this game, other then a few weird glitches like the outfielder not putting up the glove to catch.. it seems fine.. lol

  • is that sarcasm?

  • safe

  • you dint even touch home plate thts y he was safe ur foot wasnt touching the home plate so look at ur foot its not on home plate

  • That's the whole point of the video, is that my catcher wasn't touching the plate yet the runner was called out! This game sucks, us PC gamers are screwed when it comes to sports games!

  • no their nt because we might gt madden 10 and we getting live 10 n 2k10

  • @drbeerman3 yes, yes we are!

  • @drbeerman3 i was thinking the same thing. Yesterday i got 2K10 for the WII and it is good.buy it NOW.do not want to be controling

  • @drbeerman3 Sports games suck in general. Whats the point to playing a video game about something you can already do??

  • @drbeerman3 its cuz ur too cheap to buy a system

  • @drbeerman3

It's hard to say they might want to make the game as close to real as they can get. But graphical erros happen like this quite a bit in video games. But I would say that they are trying to keep it real because I think that you would have that problems at other bases because they probably would use the same algorithms for every base to see if a player is safe.

  • @joshrocks14 thays worng i dont think it was a force so he would have needed too tag him

  • there was a guy at third therefore it was a forced out which means he didnt need to tag u

  • It's called a "neighborhood call." Umpires sometimes let a player "tag" a base by putting his foot near it on a forceout in order to avoid a collision, so long as the player clearly COULD have touched the base. It's usually done in the context of a double play (at 2B) though.

  • was there a force out at the plate if there was then thats why

  • yes there was i saw the runner going back to 3rd like it was going to be caught so he was out easily

  • why does every1 hate this game cause of its glitches/bugs? Halo 3 and /Call

Of Duty 4/World At War has glitches/bugs and no1 talks shit about them

  • You see the thing, Halopwningdude, is that a sports game is held to a higher standard. Yes, fine, in halo or whatever if you walk through a wall you can ignore it. But a glitch in a sports game effects every moment of the game play and can not be ignored.

A glitch in a sports game is akin to you aiming deadbang in the center of an enemies chest in halo and it registering as a miss, every single timem, where if you missed it would cost you the game or the mission or whatever.

  • cuz those are two of the greatest games ever

even with all the glitches its still better than 2k9

i love 2k9 but sometimes it just pisses me the hell off especially an outfielder camped under a ball two outs 9th inning no hitter and he looks like hes gonna catch it and there goes my no no its got nothing on halo 3 and cod4 so sorry

  • IBANEZ!!!!! how did he get out wtf bullshit!!!!!!!1

  • ibanez I PERSONALLY THINK hes on steiroids

  • no hes not

  • No he's not just because people do good doesn't mean they do steroids. People just say that because they have no good reason to explain why the player is doing good. BTW if you think about it Raul is doing a lot better, when he was on the mariners he did the same thing he just didn't getting recognized as much because he wasn't on a good team.

  • how?? why??

  • Its a video game, there are going to be mistakes

  • yeahh that happens all the time to me but always out

  • 0:35

    its close

  • Close? His foot is 6 inches off the plate, and that's assuming it was a forced out.

  • even if it was bases loaded and it could of been a force out. the catcher didnt have his foot on home plate.

  • another example of why 2k9 is so horrible compared to the show

  • was it bases loaded?
