I have one and it's really cool I like it but the touch screen like he said isn't very responsive so when your seeking through a video it goes through 25% sections of the video and it pisses me off, but over all it's cool and neat.

There is an online store selling an OEM version of this player... It comes with a single point capacitive touch screen... that would be what i just bought...

I cant remember what it is out of the box but right now in 2010 it sucks with a 45 minute life.

Of course. As long as mobiles will have crappy sound quality and low memory capacity people will buy mp3 players.

I dont know why they didnt ship your mp4.

Looks interesting, but it would need to be really cheap for people to buy it i think. Does anyone buy mp3 players anymore? My N95 does all this.

will the updates firmware remove the lag etc on the player?

Most likely, Teclast players get stable after a few firmware releases. The first version of their firmware is always buggy, but it improves after a few firmware releases.
