  • you have truly inspired me to continue on my weightloss journey. Its hard but u have inspired me. You did that by yourself, no surgery, no trainer, I am so proud of u and I aspire to be where your at today

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. Pushing myself harder and looking at others in the gym is my problem. I love walking and have the space to do it. I will definitely take advantage of that. Thanks again for posting your fitness stories!

  • This is really nice of you to take the time to explain your story on your videos and how others can get there. You didnt hold on to all your info, and you will be blessed for that. Thanks!

  • So glad I came across this. I know a lot of this information already. Just lacking motivation lately. I'm about to get on my trampoline RIGHT now for a late night workout, then go to bed! THANK YOU!

  • You are incredible.

  • Wow you lost all of that. Whenever i ask for weight loss advice i get their life story of how they used to be 20 pounds over weight lol, like it was such a hard struggle for just 20 pounds. I need someone that can feel my pain and know what it's like to actually be BIG not 20 or 30 pounds over weight and still skinny. You are now an inspiration to me because you let me know it's possible and not to give up. If you could do it i know i can. I've lost 50 so far and am working on losing 50 more.

  • You're seriously like a miracle TV commercial, one of those unbelievable photoshops!!!

  • Thanks! I favorite all your vids :)

  • hey for those of you who are concerned about belly jiggles...you can get one of these waist cinchers. they are also called a slimmer or sauna belt. i cant think of what brand it is but i got mine from walmart for like $5 and i have also seen them at ross for the same price. it just helps me feel more secure in my workout shirts and is also known to sweat off inches.

  • thank you so much for all the information you have given i do have a question what exercises did you do for your weight training,

  • so crazy, I an 220 now and want to get down to 130. approximately how long did this take you to reach your goal?

  • I need to learn how to run properly on my feet, because I am an impact runner. Maybe I should start off jogging. Much love too you and thanks for this information

  • I need to learn how to run properly on my feet, because I am an impact runner. Maybe I should start off jogging.

  • You are awesome motivation!!! Thank you for sharing!!

  • i know that im late but i had lost almost 40lbs and i had my first plateu and i became very discouraged and felt like i had to lose weight very quickly, but i you made me realize that the best weight loss takes time dedication and perservernce. I am now decalaring my second weight loss journey.

  • You've been so motivational! Listening to you has helped me realize that weight loss is hard work but has also given me the encouragement to not be afraid of that hard work and to push myself harder. Thanks for being honest about your journey.

  • When you first start exercising, when did you notice the weight coming off? And how long were exercising (like timewise)? Were you exercising for 30 mins for the weight to come off? an hour? 2 hours? Was it a certain exercise? I just started working out again to lose weight and my weight is staying the same, even after me cutting calories. I slip up sometimes but Im still eating much less than usual.

  • so inspiring

  • hey BBBD! I am beginning my weight-loss journey, I am running and eating right but idk how to life weights or how to do resistance training? any tips? any tapes u wanna recommend?

    you inspired me.

    Thanks sis!

  • Okay, got a question for ya. I lost 45 lbs this year and I've been working out with my husband and I'm having a problem with saggy skin and being flabby... how do I tone up my belly and other soft, giggly parts?

  • I don't want to ask a question that I'm sure a million other people have asked, but how tall are you? I'm just trying to guage how much is a healthy weight based on height since you are 130 lbs. Also, did you find that you had any excess of flesh after you lost the weight?

  • Very inspirational! I'm at the beginning stages right now but I'll keep watching and work on my stick-to-itivness!

  • I want to thank you for posting what you went through and sharing it with the rest of us!!!

  • OK BbyDoll...I just watched "Make an EX out of Excuses". You motivated me. My goal is to go this week with no excuses about my workout. I need to fit it in daily. Oh, and your comment about running fast, then slowing down, then running fast...you're right, it works! It's basically interval training, the most efficient way to lose body fat. I did it several years ago and lost my fat thighs and that chunk of fat hanging off my knees. Interval training makes a visible difference.

  • You're right BbyDoll...I've been cheating myself when it comes to the workouts. I don't workout as often as I should and I don't push myself past my comfort zone in my workouts. Right now I'm doing an interval treadmill workout with a walking speed of 3 and a jogging speed of 5.5. I go for 45 minutes. I'm inconsistent. Some days I don't even workout--I always say, "It's ok if I didn't workout today, I'm going to hit it hard tomorrow." Well, as you can guess that doesn't always happen.

  • this is so motivating!!! you actually have me doing dumbbell curls as i watch you. i haven't used these in a minute. lol. thanks, doll!

  • I am least motivated to work out at home when its the only available option i have....

  • very great video!!!!!!!!

  • i appreciate people that keep it real tomorrow i am going to work out and start my lifestyle change THANK YOU FOR BEING SO POSITIVE AND BEING SO MOTIVATIONAL I REALLY NEED IT I CANT KEEP BEING SO UNHEALTHY SORRY EVERYONE 1337

  • i need too lose weight im a big fan of you thanks so much tomorrow i am starting my lifestyle change

  • At this point, could you lose more weight ? not that youd want to, or need to. But when your body reaches a certain weight, will it stop losing pounds ?

  • Hey Nina! Thanks for all of your inspirational videos! I actually had a question about how you keep your body so toned yet still feminine looking? What is your balance between cardio and weight lifting? I'm on the P90X program and I love it, but I find myself constantly having to keep an eye on my body to make sure that I don't build too much. Any suggestions?

  • Love the vids. Very encouraging. For your information on effective exercise, did you get the info from magazines and such or is there a specific book you've read that you found to be helpful in your weight-loss journey?

  • How come you were able to do J. Michaels without taking a single sip of water? Have you ever been able to work out without your throat getting uncomfortably dry?

  • thank you Ms. Nina!

  • Hey girl

I have begun my weightloss journey last week. I have 123 pounds to lose by July 9. 2011. I am currently 323. I have a question for you. majority of my weight is in my upper body. im a little concerned about if i will look flabby after the weight comes off, how did u get so tight skinned?

  • @ldent002 in one of her previous q&a's she talks about her moisturizing technique of moisturizing consistently and rubbing upwards before, during, and after her weightloss. But the science is that it depends on genes and if you were moisturizing while you were getting bigger;your skin is an organ and how it retracts is upto your genes. No one is perfect don't worry about the skin focus on getting healthy, fitting into the clothes you like, and adding decades to your life :)

  • Hey girl love your videos... i am on my journey and everytime i fill like quitting i watch your videos... :]

  • Intervals are no joke. . .that's what I'm doing now. Intervals on the elliptical/ treadmill. I do have a goal that I want to look fit/trim for my Miami trip in July. But trust, I'm making this a lifestyle change. The Miami trip sparked my motivation to get healthier.

  • You are a God-send to break down all this information like this!! I am taking notes... so many realistic points. It's not a fantasy, and you tell it like it is!!

  • So true Nina the muscle needs confusion or you will keep hitting plateaus..I know so I do Jillians Last Chance Workouts.Interval training is good because you can train less but get your cardio/strength training in!I do cardio almost everyday..

  • You are such a great motivator. I still have 20 pounds to go and have lost 47 pounds so far over the years. I need to get to the last 20 pounds and not remain comfortable. God Bless you

  • I have taken up spinning and LOOVEE it! I am a big girl and everybody else but the people in the gym say you spin, I'm like yeah! They were like dang I tried it and couldn't last 15 minutes! My teacher says only the strong survive!

  • I can so relate to your journey. I have just been in the game for 3 months and my body already looks good and I can say that it is the toning that has done it! I only use 3 to 8 pound hand weights. I am still obese but don't look it at all. I love workouts that are fun like zumba and turbo jam but jillian and the firm are helping me scultp a sexier me! Thank you !

  • Mayn Im missing hitting the gym hard. I need to get back into shape. I wish I had a reliable gym partner though, she's good one day, and back off the wagon the rest of the week. No motivation at all.

  • Great Information as always :0)

  • Your videos have really been a big help for me. It's mentally preparing me for the journey I'm about to embark upon. I think the reason I was never successful in the past is because I never really felt like I had someone rooting for me. But when I watch your video it's like you're personally speaking to me. With that being said I'm excited to see what the future has in store for me. Keep up the good work because you're going to go far, believe me. =)

  • You are so motivational!!! Love your vids!!

  • thank you for doing this .I thought that I was the only one who felt awkward at the gym.

  • I have some stretchmarking on my upper arms that has really been bugging me. Do you have the same - or I suppose I should say did you have stretch marks? If so, did they disappear on you when you lost the weight?

  • Love ya mama! You are such an inspiration. Thank you!

  • Thanks for this. I've finally committed to getting healthy and making some real changes. I'm intimidated but I've been going to the gym doing treadmill for about a month. Now Im ready to try weights also... Keep sharing info......
